The true crime is that Ratigan isn’t regarded as one of the prime villains in the Disney Villains franchise. Seriously he deserves to be amongst the likes of Jafar, Cruella, Scar, Hades, Maleficent and yet isn’t. Shameful. Also yes, the movie is so much more enjoyable if seen as a huge lovers spat between Basil and Ratigan.

I think the idea of Glomgold being what Scrooge would be if he didn't have his family keeping him from going overboard is the most interesting take.

Speaking of many pig villains, one was in the life and times, during the Clodaic chapters. He was a loan shark turn casino owner and crimboss. Scrooge made a deal with him for a loan to buy miner's tools and loanshark was all too happy with the deal having only 10% interest rate since there wasn't any gold in the area. Moments latter the news of the goldrush reached town, so the loan shark tampered their contract from 10% to 100% and skipped town before Scrooge could hunt him down. The day Scrooge was going to pay one of the last instalment of the loan, the crime boss kidnapped him in order to learn the secret location of his goldmine. He also read out loud for his gang the contented of the letters Scrooge had recieved from home, the firsts ones he ever did, since he was moving around so much he didn't have an adress to recieve them. It was in those letters that Scrooge learned that his mother passed out. Being tied to the chimneis of a huge steam boat, Scrooge demolished them, sent a giant piano flying out the window, beat up every single person in the boat, and dragged the crimeboss though town and to the police station.

Maleficent was my favorite boss battle in KH1. She's a commanding presence in every scene she's in, and this manages to make her probably the most intimidating boss, especially when she's literally throwing meteors at Sora and gang Thanos style. "METEORS OF HEAVEN, UNLEASH THY FURY!!!" And then the boss fight against her dragon form is just... ridiculously hard, especially on higher difficulties.

Geez, the names of these episodes are ironically well just kind of something in the story not that it’s bad but if the Cryptkeeper were to watch this, he probably would either be laughing at the fact that they’re blender than his titles OK the titles aren’t bland. They are actually kind of creepy if they get out of context, but this is me comparing a show for children to an HBO series full of sex gore and swearing so I’m not one to judge

Hey, I realized why he’s called badge. It’s because he doesn’t look like a rodent. It looks like a badger so that would make him a weasel. If you don’t get the joke, it’s because badgers are related to weasels. They’re the same family which also includes skunks Wolverine and some otters

Speaking of Daisy Duck, did you see her appearances and her new form in the DuckTales reboot? kzbin.info/www/bejne/a6Oni6mEl5iqiLcsi=QkGenUm2E67Ydk7C kzbin.info/www/bejne/j2jHiqFpgdtjhLMsi=9pID2hr6FcpHSUGA You know how brave she is to fight off against Falcon Grave especially how he hurts of Donald. So if someone messes with Donald then they mess with Daisy. I mean unlike the original DuckTales, Daisy made her appearances in the DuckTales reboot.

I can co-sign about him being a rat we were visiting family in LA back in 84 and my godparents took us to the Chuck-E-Cheese and the guy in the Chucky suit kept playing with my mom's hair and trying to hug her around the waist. So my dad shoved him and they almost kicked us out.

They should make a third one to round out the trilogy. Make it about a retired Bernard and his adult children. Of course, they won’t be able to replace Bianca’s VA since she had passed but they would add that to the story. Would be awesome. 👍

The phantom blot defined my childhood. Over here in Europe he is truly well known. And as far as I see it in most stories he’s used in he is the biggest threat. Hell even when he isn’t the main antagonist like in the Premium Darkwing Comics he‘s still so story defining and relevant. He perfectly rounds out the trifecta. Pete is a thug, the Beagles are evil minions and he is the dramatic supervillain.

my roman empire is the fact that Magica is voiced by Catherine Tate and Scrooge by David Tennant who they also played the 10th Doctor and Donna Noble in Doctor Who, no wonder their performances are so good in the reboot, i'm surprised nobody is talking about it

You know I think the Huntsman got off lucky because if the evil queen did win then he would have been next executed for his crimes against the queen but I feel like the queen didn't kill him in that very moment because her main goal was to kill Snow White and as easy as it would be to get revenge on the Huntsman you have to have your priorities in order which was for her killing Snow White to be the fairest of them all then executing the Huntsman

The live action Peter Pan just feels so morose and unhappy, like all the fun it could have had has been drained from it and spat out into the ocean or something. Even the lighting in most scenes makes it look darker and more drab than it should be. Neverland is colorful and full of life not... dead.

Bradford was revealed to be the leader of O.W.L. (or at least one of the members) when entering a rescue chopper inexplicably labeled with O.W.L. logo on it, with Black Heron piloting it, and she rhetorically asking her 'partner in crime' "Was he expecting to get away on a rescue chopper without a logo of O.W.L. on it?" wich ruffled up Brad replies"YES!". Wich is my favorite moment.

My favorite Disney Princess (shush, she had about half the 65 episodes and was in every of the five seasons) is Calla the heroine to the villain you mentioned. Duke Igthorne. One possible reason Igthorne gets away with so much is actually canon. The Duke is the King's brother. This would cause the King all kinds of real life medieval problems for both the king and the princess. Related to the villain? Yikes!

Oooh I am a big fan of The Phantom Blot (as you might can tell...) and I have a large collection of the comics starring him (Mostly with mask on, because I unfortunately care less about those where he goes without mask). Here is some cool details I know about Phantom Blot: The number one is of course his motive revealed in comic "Do not forget my name/I Am Phantom Blot", where his ultimate objective is to make people fear him again as that's what he lives for in what he does. Unfortunately he has been lately mistreated like any other average criminal, so what he does is he plants a garden of flowers with the ability to erase memory for a period of time, and during this he does things to freeze people's blood once more. Second best one is actually a series called Darkenblot (you may have read about some of these), that is focused around futuristic cities of Robopolis and Japanese-influenced Robohama. In summary, Phantom Blot creates a namesake robot, that is a colossal battle armoury, which in its debut has ability to regenerate. Don't really know what actually was changed alongside the look in the later parts, but the third one is my all time favourite: He along with his technological crew, who I consider his friends since Phantom Brat, creates Umibozu called robot to terrorize the city with AI, who has become the artifical version of the phantom Blot. I gladly share some more from my collection if anyone is interested to hear more about these "European exclusive" blot stories

I remember this movie as a kid. Mom brought it back from the library and I certainly enjoyed it, even the dark messed up stuff. This, and probably Snow White, are most likely what made me enjoy horror with Black Cauldron sealing it. The dark aesthetic that these movie have at time (or for like half the run time in Cauldron's case) just scratch a certain part of my brain right.

I remember one story in the comics where the writer actually remembered that originally Magica DeSpell wasn't specifically after Scrooge's first dime, but was collecting coins from rich people in general to make a magic talisman (Scrooge's dime, being the first coin earned by the richest duck in the world, had the most magical potential but she had before that already collected a bunch of other coins), and had Magica decide to give up on trying to get Scrooge's dime and use the coins she already had to make an amulet that didn't give her the Midas touch but still made her extremely rich. However, at that point she had gotten so used to trying to steal the dime that she couldn't enjoy her newfound riches and by the end of the story went back to antagonizing Scrooge. It's also interesting how in the European (mostly Italian) comics Rockerduck is the primary rival for Scrooge and Glomgold is pretty much never seen, while Barks only used him once and Don Rosa only had him appear as a child in "the Live and Times of Scrooge mcDuck" (Rosa instead used Glomgold as a rival to Scroge in multiple stories). Might have just been that since Glomgold was established to live in South Africa the Italian writers felt it made more sense to use Rockerduck since they could have him live in Duckburg and interact with Scrooge in person more easily (in a lot of stories they're both members of the billionaires' club and get into some argument at the club which then kicks off the story). Despite both characters filling the same narrative role they are actually portrayed quite differently. Glomgold is usually either competing with Scrooge to prove who is richer or chasing after the same treasure, and is much more of an actual villain, frequently trying to kill off Scrooge. Rockerduck's and Scrooge's rivalry does occasionally consist of them challenging each other to prove their wealth by doing something but frequently consists of them having competing businesses and trying to drive the other out of business. He's willing to resort to dirty tricks but doesn't seem like he'd actually want to kill anybody, and he's very rarely shown to be interested in treasure-hunting.
