Why be sarcastic or cynical? I heard some villages barely have fresh vegetables, gardens, or dependable internet. Maybe show some footage from those areas too.

Barely have fresh vegetables? 😆 We grow our food darling. The "villages" have more food than you would ever have had in your life. And it's all organic. Fresh from the soil from Our FARMS/"garden" Then as for the non-dependable internet... So, cos it's In Africa you guys call it "poverty" but in the west, you call it "off the grid" 😆 Shame on you for judging Africans based off what you "HEARD" Not seen for yourself. And Shame on you ( who probably doesn't even know that Africa is a CONTINENT!, and probably poor in your own country...) for thinking you're better than Us

I’m really interested in the coastal regions because I love the ocean and ocean communities. Idk if it’s considered too touristy but I’d like to check out Zanzibar. According to my well traveled rock climbing friends, Cederberg is the place to go if I wanted to go on climbing trip. I’m always open to suggestions because Africa is a huge place and each country is very different.

Roflmao! I grew up half the time in California, and the other in different parts of Africa. Usually when people learn this they have extremely wrong ideas. In Africa I was in a major city with tons of people...

I was born and raised in Iowa, United States. As a child, I wasn't educated on other modern civilizations, especially in Africa. I think that's where assumptions and stereotypes began. My sister-in-law married an African American man, originally from Rwanda. I have learned so much in recent years, and it blew my little mind. Their family values are so strong, their food is amazing, and as it turns out, not all of Africa is an underdeveloped Savannah. Spread the word!

Thank you, as someone who travelled to Africa to see and help these “Villages” America says needed help, I think its us who need the help. They all work together, as far as I saw there was no division, and even if there was core differences between people they work together. Thats something America has never been able to accomplish, mainly because of how large it is. Anyway, those communities are amazing and it’s rare to see a malnourished person, and when we did we cared for them and it was mainly due to being sick before or currently.

Africa is not only a single country but also a diverse continent comprising 54 nations. While at some points it is true that SOME African countries face significant socio economic challenges, but it is inaccurate to characterize the ENTIRE continent as uniformly poor. Africa has abundant natural resources. Countries like Kenya, South Africa and Nigeria have THRIVING industries, robust infrastructures and dynamic entrepreneurial ecosystems. Moreover Africa is home to rich cultural heritage. We all should acknowledge the positivity and not all the negativity of such a beautiful place.

That's very unfortunate. I have brothers with thwir own houses they bought land and built their nice homes. Nephews who go to private school. My Dad and some of my brothers and their wives have cars. My Dad was a simple tailor but managed to put 6 kids through school now we all have different degrees, some have College Diplomas and stuff like that. We are not even a rich family yet we can afford all that through hardwork. It breaks my heart that whenever Africa is shown in movies, they paint it as very backward with people living in villages. They don't get that we have some of the most beautiful cities, resort towns etc
