When I first heard him sing this song back in 2017 the first line hooked me with his perfect pitch. Then the second line and following pairs were just as perfect and his range started to show....I was a goner, this 70 year old grandma regained her will to live and has looked forward to every day since. I saw Dimash's SOS video from the 2017 Singer show in China exactly a month ago, and in this month I have become an expert on Dimash!!! I have watched his songs, concerts, reaction videos, etc. nonstop; am learning the words to his songs in Kazakh, Russian, & Mandarin; playing his songs on my keyboard; and learning everything I can about him from interviews and shows he went on in China & Russia. I watched the entire 14 episodes of the Singer from 2017 with English subs, and got to appreciate the other performers and the high quality production of that show. Yes, I have been completely Dimashified, yet listening to this very first song of SOS never gets old! I love the French language, and the words touched me deeply, as well as his skill, the first time I heard him sing it. It touches me every time! I am 64 years old, with a huge crush on Dimash, honored to have lived long enough to get to be on the same planet with him, a Dear forever!!!

I became a Dear in 2017 while he was participating on the Chinese competition “I am Singer “. It’s a competition where already established and famous musicians compete against each other and Dimash was brought on as a wildcard, the youngest and first foreigner to ever be invited to participate on the show. This competition is incredible and makes our competitions here in America look likes child’s play! Since Dimash was brought on as a wildcard, he was unknown by the Chinese people and let me add that the rules in this competition are very strict and sometimes difficult to understand but once you figure out how the extremely large audience votes and how the rules can change at any time you will easily become hooked on the show because as I said, it’s incredible and so are the artists that perform on there. Getting back to Dimash, he had to be the very first performer on the night the competition started and he performed “SOS” and blew the audience away with his talent and he won that night! Dimash won several times but after all the scores were added up at the end of the season, he got 2nd place, The winner was a lady named Sandy who would probably be the equivalent of a Dianna Ross or someone well known and loved here in America for many years(the Diana Ross hypotheses was just an example) but Dimash went from the 1st night before he performed SOS as an unknown artist in China to needing security the next morning after he performed. The Chinese people absolutely fell in love with him and he is now a very well known and extremely loved artist in China who is followed by billions there and that began his true start to becoming a International superstar! Dimash came back for a charity performance in 2018 to sing a incredible version of the classic song “Hello” by Lionel Ritchie and its a must see! During the 2018 season Jessie J was invited to compete & ended up winning that year. She was blown away by Dimash, her reaction was caught on tape during his performance! The 2nd place artist in 2018 was Hua Chenyu, whom is also a must see & hear artists! Besides Dimash he is my favorite artist from ever from “I am Singer “ and there are many GREAT ARTISTS! Hua Chenyu came back this year in 2020 and won! He’s more Rock/Rap but he does a little of everything, he’s an incredible vocalist/singer/songwriter and composer and happens to be one of the most popular musicians in China at this time! You must check him out if you haven’t already, I love him & I’m a big fan but Dimash has stolen my heart and reach a part of my soul that no musician has ever done so although I’m a true Martian( what Hua Chenyu calls his fans) I am a -#Dear4Life (I came up with that hashtag myself!) Please keep listening & reacting to Dimash, you will never be disappointed and he will never fail to impress and also check out Hua Chenyu, maybe start with a performance from the 2018 I am Singer competition with the song called “Nunchucks” and/or his performance on the 2020 show with a song called “Bullfighter” I love one of his songs called “Giant Deer” , it’s absolutely beautiful and you can find that on his official channel or just by looking it up . My favorite is the performance he does during one of his concerts, it’s not the Mars tour I don’t believe but he’s singing behind a screen at first with images of big whales and Dears on the screen and the end has some very beautiful harmonies by his background singers! I think I became a fan after the first time I heard him. I subscribe to a reactor called JamelakaJamal and was watching his journey into the music I grew up with and he had one video that listed his top 20 and he had Dimash listed at 20. I thought, 'what's a dimash?' so looked him up and watched him perform this song at the competition in China. When he was done, I just sat there stunned and thought 'what did I just hear?' I couldn't even think... I just felt. I had to watch it a few more times and was blown away every time. I started watching the reaction videos just to see if other people had the same experience.

Its a cultural thing. This is also a very formal event with important dignitaries in the audience. So the Russian audience shows respect by giving flowers rather than standing and screaming and going bananas like I would be doing 🤣🤣!

What has me completely captivated by Dimash when he sings, is that he is there TO sing. There is no pouty lips and all the nonsense that singers do these days. He opens his mouth and dang well sings! His every move is geared toward the science of releasing his voice. He paints the song with his hands, tells the story of the song with emotion and movement. IMO Dimash becomes the music that is why many of us are Dears. It's the music that is important to him, and he made us realize what we have been missing for SO long.

Another great reaction to King Dimash,he’s the best singer in the Galaxy.I became a Dear since the first video I saw of him ,his performance of All by Myself at World’s Best ( they are better versions of this same song by Dimash like the Singer in 2017). SOS was the first song I saw... I was a dear ever since. Dimash sings so many types of songs so it's hard to recommend a few but... Sinful Passion - (love song), best vocals I've ever heard come from a male artist Ogni Pietra (also known as Olympico because it was written for the European Olympic games) - full blown baritone opera + more :D Love is like a Dream (another love song) Across Endless Dimensions (rock-ish official music soundtrack) - for the unreleased movie Creators: The Past Samaltau (folk song in Kazakh) - Tokyo jazz festival version is best. As a Dear, this was the first song that I heard and listened from him (although it was the I Am A Singer version), and it blew my mind instantly. The way he delivered it with such sensitivity and intelligence was mind blowing and brought tears to my eyes just from the sheer beauty (and of course the emotions conveyed). For me, it’s my favorite. I also cried many times watching daybreak from Bastau concert. The story behind this song is also heartbreaking. The totality in which he performs this song (mid way through a concert!) is just mind blowing.

Brilliant Skylar. Excellent. Personally, I was ambushed by his SOS in the Singer 2017 competition in February 2017. It has been incredible to see his growth as an artist and as a person. It has also been a privilege to see people discovering and appreciating him. I can't quite bring myself to call myself a Dear, but I am definitely a Dimash Bro who recognizes that every time I watch him sing I am seeing history being created. Keep going....

Late 2017 (Dec. I think) I saw a video "The best singer in the world" and I clicked on it. It was S.O.S. from the Chinese "I am a Singer 2017". Been hooked ever since. If you search there are several versions of SOS including one in France where SOS originated in a French rock opera and all of them are slightly different as he seeks to improve. As you are swept down the river that is Dimash you will find that there are no bad songs, no mistakes (that I have ever heard) and always something new and fresh to amaze.

“SOS d'un terrien en détresse” tells of an earthly being that is in distress and ask for help because he never felt well in his own skin, he better be a bird to see the world because it could be better when from above It is a part of an french Rock-Pop opera released in 1979: Starmania. Recorded by Daniel Balavoine in 1979 or so and Grégory Lemarchal won of the French reality singing competition Star Academy 2014 with this song. I heard it as a boy and I loved this song but I didn´t know its name or singer, only that it was in french. When looking for it I found the original version and Dimash´s one. My 'moment' is not really a moment... more like a gradual realization. When I first heard him sing SOS in Singer 2017 show, I was like '......', it's like I went blank... for many days and weeks, then it slowly dawn on me... WOW! Probably because it's so out of my limited capability to comprehend what just happened... Like if you tell me a great joke, you drop the punchline and I didn't laugh.... after a long time, then I realise, LOL!!!!

Dimash is seen as THE best singer in the world by millions of his fans called "dears". If you would like to be taken on a journey with Dimash, may I recommend you react to the videos in the following order: 1) SOS 2) Sinful Passion 3) Adagio 4) Olympico 5) Opera 2 6) Show must go on 7) Qairan Elim. Come get Dimashified. You will not regret it. Although I hate Wikipedia, they have a very detailed summary of Dimash. I recommend you view it. I also recommend that you look at the backstory of some of the songs he sings. For example, Autumn Strong and Daybreak are true stories. If you know the backstories, the songs take on a whole new element and understanding of how well Dimash tells a story with his vocals. This is especially true for Daybreak. I first was introduced to Dimash from a friend. I was so blown away by another artist, Marcelito Pomoy singing "The Prayer" on Wish Bus 107.5 (must watch). My friend recommended SOS to me. At first I thought it was interesting. His high notes were impressive, but I really did not appreciate the performance for what it was. I then watched Opera 2. Again, I was fascinated with his high notes, but I just thought this was his gimmick. I am not easily impressed as you can see. It was not until I saw Sinful Passion that truly showcases his vocal abilities, and Adagio, that showcases his stage presence and passion of his perfomrances that I fell in love with Dimash and became a Dear. Dimash has become an addirction for me...a sinful passion you could say. Daily, every day, I watch reaction videos of Dimash. I love seeing the awe and shock they get. I love the true, raw emotions Dimash instills in the bloggers. And, as you can see, I love commenting on the good and bad bloggers. I have discovered that the thumbs up is used more for the Dimash video, and some for the blogger's reactions, while the thumbs down is 99% for the vloggers performance of the the reaction or their inability to deal with the technical issues of their vlog (volume control). Personally, I would prefer a first reaction to be done without subtitles, so that the total impact of the voice and music is the reaction, and not the words. Some people focus so much on reading the subtitles, that they really do not give a full reaction to the video performance. They seem to miss many of the subtleties of Dimash when they focus on trying to read the subtitles. Just my opinion of course. Thanks for the reaction. It was enjoyable. Always interesting to see what vlogger's bedrooms and homes look like. At least you made your bed....Ha Ha.

This EXTRATERRESTE DIMASH should receive all our possible consideration. He, with his incredible voice, manages to give a song more beauty than it has. I imagine the envy of those who consider themselves the supreme vocal juice. Therefore, not valuing Dimash is a mistake that only the ignaros, the ones without musical and sound sensitivity, the OGROS (male and female), the truculent ones make only. The greatest beauty of a song is the vocal sound of those who sing. In my opinion he is the best singer of all time.

Oh please do Sinful Passion. I found Dimash in 2017 when someone posted a video of Dimash, titled 'Best Voice in the World'. I clicked out of curiosity and there was this very handsome guy singing Opera 2. If you want to be again blown away... do that one as well. I was hooked from that moment on and I literally listen to Dimash every single day. He does not know it but he helps me cook, clean, drive. He enjoys coffee with me in the mornings and gets me through a workout.

Also my suggestion would be to always turn on the subtitles when to react to Dimash as he sings in different languages. Many his songs have some back story, deep meaning or significance. Few examples are Daybreak- song based on a real tragic event happened in China, the best version is from Bastau concert. Adagio- a cover of Lara Fabian song based on classical masterpiece by Albinoni. Diva Dance(Bastau concert) - impossibly difficult song of an alien blue lady from The Fifth Element. Samaltau - from Tokyo Jazz festival. Dimash is in his home studio(due to Corona festival was online). Very important old, sad folk Kazakh song. Incredible instrumentation. Real world music Also. Know, Love of Tired Swans, Passione. The list goes on..:)
