Very Teesha Moore! Isn't it wonderful how much she has inspired all of us? I hope she knows the impact she has made. I certainly thank you for YOURS in my life! 😘

I posted something in my stories on Instagram of hers stating how much I loved her and that she is who really got me into collage. She saw it and responded. So I think she knows. She has been an inspiration to so many people! Her work is truly amazing. I'm in awe every time I look at her pages. Thank you so much for your sweet words. Really. Thank you.

I love this! Thanks so much for sharing your process on this bright, beautiful page. ❤️ One comment for anyone who may find it useful: a TERRIFIC product for gluing large images, especially on thin papers, is YES! Paste Stik-flat Glue. The stuff is amazing. I'm a bookbinder, and frequently use it in place of liquid glue for applying thin papers to cover boards with no wrinkling. I apply it using a Catalyst wedge (the flat-edged white one) as a squeegee.

I'm looking forward to your next video. You have the most soothing voice and are very pleasant to listen to. 1 more thing- in your mini album/tag album video, do you know in which Mischief Circus pack you found the little black and white photo of the little boy with the hula hoop? I've been wanting that since seeing you use it in such a cute way.

It was a lot of fun watching you make this spread. I especially like seeing how doodling helped pull everything together while at the same time beefing up some pieces (the sun in the top right for example). I'd say 1 thing about the mod podge though; if you think you might add acrylic paint at some point after you start collaging, don't use MP. I've ruined several pieces learning that paint will go on top of MP, but eventually it will peel and flake off. Paint pens seem to be ok long term though. TFS
@DeniseLush4 жыл бұрын
Carlotta Holman thank you so much. Doodling definitely helps tie things together and make things pop! I have never tried painting on top of MP only doodling. But that is very useful information. Thanks for sharing that.

Absolutely love what you created it looks so fun and whimsy. Where do you find such great pieces to collage? I’ve been so inspired by your Chanel that I am going to try this kind of art. For someone who is just starting out what kind of advice would you give? I did order DyanReavley collage sheets and I am excited to get my hands on them, but what else should I be collecting? Do you have any classes or videos for beginners? If not, you should. I am sure many people would take a class from you, I know I would. Thank you for sharing your time and talents and I look forward to future videos and soaking up any tips or techniques from you. Please take good care of yourself.
@DeniseLush4 жыл бұрын
Kari Villebrun thank you so very much. Well you’ve made a good start by purchasing Dyan’s new collage sheets. I have ordered them too! Can’t wait!!! I get my images from Mischief Circus. You purchase, download and print as many as you like. The only advice I can think of is to watch other collage videos and look at pictures and just play. Try to let go of ‘normal’ or perfect and just try and have fun with it. It takes a while to get a feel for it. I still struggle sometimes. Do have fun with it thought. It can be very enjoyable and relaxing.
