Karinda is so brave and strong God bless you girl 🙏 I'm not sure but as far as the wearing of the masks go would it not help if these masks are dampened a bit so the dust can accumulate on the outside and masks replaced as often as possible The dust is so fine that it could be very dangerous to breathe in for long stages God bless everyone and be with all 🙏🙏🙏

I am not a builder, nor do I have any engineering experience, but I do believe if they try and send in more heavy equipment, it will make the rescue area just more unsafe/unstable. My prayers are to these trapped members and their families. Also to the reporters give regular feedback to us as the general public: Thank you for your dedication to keep us informed. Also, make sure that you all get the needed counciling to help you coping with the trauma you are experiencing with being there on the ground witnessing this manmade trauma. Then, let us all also pray for the first responders who are also experiencing emotional trauma while they are working on the Frontline, giving their best and still hope and pray that they can save some people and get them out alive. Let us as a country pray also for all involved in this traumatic rescue to not only be strong but stay safe. ❤🙏🏼🙏🙏🏾🙏🏻❤

The owners would not be culpable. The question is where are the inspectors who signed off on each stage? Did they miss something? What caused the collapse?

I don't get it what that machine is trying to do? The entire site could have been sifted through if they used all hundreds people since day one, to remove loose rubble by hand.

Concrete when it sets becomes very difficult to break with any other machine other than an excavator with a pecker, concrete with rebar is not an easy demolition task.

Sending people in-with no knowledge on working in an unsafe area like this will just lead to more casualties and make the rescue efforts more risky. But The community can also support the rescue teams by offering to set up an area to serve them with warm coffee and lots of water. Working in that dust also has a negative impact on the reaque teams. Please let us not stop praying also for the families who are still waiting and praying that their loved ones will be found alive.

Stop asking where the Property Developer is. The Building Contractor is the party who is responsible for the site until date of completion and handover. The question that I want answered is were the Department of Labour's inspectors on site and if yes, how frequent were they onsite and did they execute all their tasks. These are the questions that must be asked. If I were the Developers I would start instructing my Legal Team to sue the media such as NewsAfrika for slander. As per usual the media has their "knives out" without knowing the facts...you're fanning the wrong flames. Let the investigation take its course and report on this. The Minister of Labour needs to be criminally charge if the investigation reveals that the Dept of Labour did not visit the site.

Perhaps when the families get some closure, but midway through a rescue would be inappropriate. The media always speculates and insinuates facts that usually prove inaccurate but most of us are just following in the hope of miracles.
