For those of you who are disappointed that I couldn't remember an adverbial misstep in this book, I found a couple (of several).
Chapter 14. Describing Ehrhardt: "He shook his head commiseratingly."
Chapter 16: “‘As soon as possible,’ Jamison said relievedly.”
