I’m new to gardening and I planted corn flowers because they were my grandmothers favorite flower next to cosmos. I have been wanting to seed save but I’m not sure if I’m seeding them too soon. Do they have to be completely dry before seeding them? I find when I wait till they are dry there are no seeds.

Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. No as long as seeds inside are brown, they should be fine. You can harvest the seed pods and let them dry inside in a windowsill. If you leave them for too long, they would be blown away.

Yes if the seeds inside are full mature. You will know when the seeds inside are brown.
