I love the videos focusing on a single plant! I love bachelors buttons and didn’t think to plant any in my new flower bed! I’ll make a note to plant in the fall 😊. BTW, I’m attempting my first raised veggie garden bed here in the harsh west Texas desert, and your videos about gardening in extreme heat have been SO helpful. I’ve rewatched most of them multiple times.

Zone 7 (Oklahoma) this is a reliable cold tolerant flower. We sew them in the fall so they sprout. Believe it or not, while they stop growing during the winter, they come through freezes and below temps. They a wonder flowers in my garden. This I one of the first flowers I grew from seed directly Sean in ground.

I'm in Nebraska and grew Bachelor Buttons last year. They bloomed and didn't stop til about November. They also stayed green, although didn't grow, I was amazed at that.

Im so excited its my first year growing them and I winter sowed them.. they sprouted and continued to germinate through well below freezing temperatures! The little seedlings are ready to be planted out and it's still well before our last expected frost. Im just learning about flowers but I am seriously loving all these cold hardy annuals 🌱💕

I was very surprised how well my bachelor’s buttons did in SW Florida. They are still flowering in June from the past early fall. Too bad they’re annuals, but the seeds are cheap. I get 4 packs for a buck at Dollar Tree. 👍🏻

I subscribe to about half a dozen gardening channels on KZbin and go through those from another dozen or so channels, and I have to admit that your channel gives the very best, most concise, and informative information on each of the gardening topics that you select. I live in the northern part of the country and won’t have a frost free day for another month or so, so we do have some differences in what we plant and not every one of your videos would be potentially as helpful to me as those from another channel. However, every single one of your videos that I have ever seen has always been done exactly right and I really appreciate the time and effort and thought you put into your videos.

Hello! I am trying to make naturalized patches of bulbs in my garden, but in zone 10 classic bulbs like tulips and hyacinths won't work. So ma'am can you please make a video about flowering bulbs that can easily naturalise and thrive in warm climates? Thank you!

I’m in zone 9-9b and I planted them when I got a perennial pack from a hardware and my grandkids planted it and it was one of the seeds in the packet so I keep them and have them every year, thank you Angela for this video. I didn’t think they are invasive. I made a mistake of asking my neighbor of this sissy pink and I have to get rid of it as they are messing with my roses. I didn’t know they spread like wild and their roots are imbedded deep 🙄 I have to dig every time I’m out to get it clean.

I tried planting these in the spring about three times, they never did very well. I don't remember planting a packet of BBs last fall, but I did make a little spot for flowers at the end of summer and the only thing that came up this year was a nice tall stand of bachelor buttons. I thought they were wild onions or something at first. They are in bloom now, end of Mar, early April. Not my favorite flower to look at, but at least they look healthy.

I’m in Colorado in zone 7 I have grown bachelors buttons for two years now and I like that they reseed themselves. But mine always end up flopping over and they need support. The stems of mine look thinner then yours in the video. They are in a sunny spot that also gets some shade in the afternoon. Am I not watering them enough maybe? I’m not sure what would cause mine to be flopping over. Thank you
