The tegu egg set up seems very similar to the leopard gecko set-up. Super cool

Hey man i have a leopard gecko who looks pregnant but it’s been a long time over a month i believe and it still looks like she has eggs. i checked her belly and she has a pink thing inside would you know why she’s taking so long?
@GeekyGeckoCreations3 жыл бұрын
Some females can lay at 1 month or even 3 months, its called "egg binding" you can give her a warm bath daily but unfortunately i have personally not recognizeed anything that works 100% when girls get egg bound, this can happen to any female but is a little more rare on the statistical side u might only encounter 1 out of every 50 girls that has egg binding issues.

Hi how are you? I’m considering producing tegu eggs this year, but a little bit confused about the information circling on the internet about the most suitable humidity for Tegu eggs. Based on your experience, what is the correct number of it? Thanks in advance! 😊
@GeekyGeckoCreations2 жыл бұрын
Hello! So most reptile eggs should be kept around 100% humidity but for leopard geckos, tegus, crested geckos, ball pythons, you'll do fine incubating with 90%+......That being said, the more holes you lunch in the container the less humid it is, you should see "some" condensation building up on the sides/top of the container as time goes on, that lets you know youre humidity is good, if there is no condensation at all the humidity may be a bit low, but dont over humidify because you dont want your eggs sitting in water yano?

@@GeekyGeckoCreations so it’s ok if my humidity is 99%, right? I find difficulties making it between 90-95 & after a couple of days, I surrendered & let it be in whatever its humidity is 😂
