I belong to the 'Munda' tribe in Jharkhand, I feel like North Eastern tribe people really know how to conserve their culture and tradition. Here, it's a little different, people are really forgetting their culture, language and tradition. And this is something we think when we are all grown up. But nowadays youths are again trying to preserve their culture. I am really glad about that. I feel very inspired by north eastern people that they are so active on this matter.

This is so beautiful. I dont want to romanticise with the tough life that you people are living so beautifully. I have been to parts of Assam & Meghalaya. They were equally serene. I so want to visit Arunachal but have terrible motion sickness & North East ka sanp aue jalebi jaise roads will only make things worse for me. So enjoying the Arunachali life vicariously through you. But its high time Government should fulfil their duty of making the lives of our brothers & sisters in North East little easy. PS really loved how you packed your food in leaves. What did I just watched? I feel so nostalgic after watching this. I am from Bhutan and I had the same experience with no lights and networks until 2012 in my village. Sleeping early as in the evening adn waking ealrly in the morining to some national radio. The things you showed here are just the same we do and how we survive there in Bhutan. I'm one of the tribes of Manipur called Maring tribes. We northeast got the same cultural of food habbits , lifestyles ,same earning of livelihoods including cultivations .livelihood stockings etc and the same facial looks . Most of were tribes but afew of were generals particularly in Assam n manipur ... Our lifelines are in jungles it's a naturally god's gifted to feed and consume for their life ... Thank you sistr for promoting the lifestyle of northeastern tribes

I remember going to woods when I was still a toddler 😂. The memory is vague though, but I remember drinking water from the bamboo which my grandmother told that it was the rainwater. Usually our tribe build small huts placed above atleast 1 meter from the ground level in jhum which is usually made up of bamboo. Sad part is the place where we use to cultivate no longer exists.
