Love these of course. Hobby Lobby is my favorite store, a person can get a ton of inspiration and the supplies to diy it all in one stop. I am a huge fan of the remnant section, You can do so much with just a scrap of fabric. I use to make all my kids cloths and my great grandma told me that if you see a fabric you absolutely love to always get atleast 2 yards, With that you can usually make a womans shirt. So i have lived by that rule all my life. Kids are funny, once my kiddos got into school they didnt want homemade cloths anymore, but then always for Halloween they wanted me to make their costumes and i did. Now that they're adults its back to sewing for them. My grand daughter now wants to learn to sew and that makes me very happy. I found a sewing machine on fb market place and suprised her with it. She was literally jumping for joy. She just turned 9 in April, she has been hand sewing for about a year now and is ready for the machine. She found a quilted print of the grinch the other day and cant wait to get started. Anyways i think i have gone on enough. As always thanks for sharing your talents with the world! If you put a small piece of tape between the wood balls its easier than hot glue!!

So many great ideas! On #1 video, would I still be able to get this look (crackle) if I don't have a heart gun? Your box of woods, did you make this all up or buy them all together ? Just in case Tracy doesn’t happen to see this… Do you have a hair dryer that has a high heat? My hairdryer on high heat gets almost as hot as my heat gun and I have the same one Tracy has. I’m thinking it would work just as well. Hopefully Tracy sees this and her expertise will far outweigh my opinion. But if she doesn’t see it to be able to answer, I would give it a try if I were you with your hair dryer.😊

I use a heat gun to speed up the drying process. It is not necessary and can dry on it's own. Thank you for chiming in.... A hair dryer can definitely be used ~ it just crackles better for me if I use some sort of drying tool to speed it up. But it is not necessary and will crackle on it's own drying process.

You'll need to play around with different tools - and drying on its own. I choose to use a heat gun because it speeds up the process for me. A hair dryer will work OR let it dry on its own. I hope that helps!
