wow,, that spanish volume surprised me hahaha as a spaniard, one thing that was really interesting to me when i started watching manga hauls was that english volumes never seem to have those sleeves, which i think are the norm here in europe. well, as always i find these videos really interesting, so thank you for making them !

I also will never understand why B&N has such bad packages like?? Their whole thing is books so why don't they invest in some decent packaging lmao. For amazon I can kinda get it since they ship out a wide variety of stuff but B&N will always baffle me

@@mango_xox right?? sometimes it's not bad but even when they try it's like one air puff in a big box ... don't be shy put some more ... i actually ended up getting a replacement for haikyu vol 19 and they set it in this cardboard square similar to books a million and i was shocked because that means they do have packaging materials like that available but they probably only used it bc i complained??

If my plans to be a scientist fall through I will definitely get that bookstore up and running haha,, and yes i'm glad i was able to find a deal for silver spoon but i know i'm going to have to shell out for the rest 😔 ,, I've read one volume of a man and his cat so far and it was super cute! and thank you for the bday wishes! and mercari is hit or miss sometimes, just make sure to look at the reviews of the seller, often they will be quite telling about things like bad packaging or smoke smells etc and also people will be scalping popular series on there like jujutsu kaisen volumes for $30+ just ignore those

Yes it's really good! The anime does cover the whole story but of course the manga is more in-depth etc,, i hope it gets an english release eventually, i wonder if it is just more popular in Europe for some reason

If you like Princess Jellyfish, I highly recommend the mangakas autobiography, My Blank Canvas! It’s so good and it’s only 5 volumes total!!! Great video btw ☺️

Check out Cirque du Freak (The Saga of Darren Shan). It's a great manga adaptation of an Irish vampire fantasy series. It just started getting omnibus releases. I also highly recommend: Soul Eater Magi Made in Abyss

I would say start with series you really love, or if you like an anime see if there is a manga available, if it goes past where the anime leaves off etc and then from there expand your collection! I've only recently started getting series that don't have animes etc mainly from recommendations on yt and such :) i hope that helps and thank you!

i usually buy used manga from mercari or ebay, not really a specific seller but i always check the reviews before purchasing, usually they are quite telling if they have bad packaging, smoke smells on books, etc so ya if something looks sketchy or too good to be true it probably is (also don’t fall for people selling popular series like jujutsu kaisen for $30+ a volume just ignore those)

@@cristophermartinez5190 The coupons i find for cheap manga i get from ads from them on instagram haha its usually free shipping on a $35 purchase or more, but if you sign up for their emails they will let you know when they restock stuff which is helpful if you are waiting for something specific
