I’m pretty sure I know this collection as he set up as a dealer at some of the White Plains shows. I believe his name is Alex and he is from Georgia. Super nice guy and a breathtaking collection. Congrats guys on landing it!

Awesome. Just helped an old customer consign their 50’s-80’s high grade set collection to an auction house to make sure they got the best value, were able to put the cards back into new collectors hands and to make sure their family didn’t get fleeced like his collecting friends family did when he passed away 10 years ago.

Did they buy out Alex Tymchuks entire inventory? I know I saw those fan craze cards in this booth at the white plains show this past summer. The massive amount of nonsports, boxing, and Jesse Owens also matches what he specialized in

Great collection White Shoes! Always love hearing success stories of long time collectors parting ways with their stash. I know you will find good homes for all the cards/sets. I will peruse your store and see if any nuggets appeal to me.

@@collectorinvestordealer Random question. Looking for an older video. One where you talked about graded vintage and the value. You had talked about how if you had bought a Willie mays in 2010 it had never lost value

If you go to list of all Abraham Lincoln photos on internet there are 130 known photos and I did not see one that matched the Snowman’s. If that’s Abraham Lincoln it might be priceless! Also I believe that the tin type photo was in a Thermoplastic case.
@jude99912 күн бұрын
It's a copy. Probably worth about $30 for the thermoplastic case it's in
@timelesscardboard12 күн бұрын
@ yes it probably has copies but very few still exist. And if this is an unknown photo of Abraham Lincoln it would be a historical treasure!

Awesome content as always. Respectfully, those Owens tickets aren't worth no where near those prices, as well as the choice in some of the sets/players of the soccer stuff. I exclusively sell and collect vintage soccer tickets and cards as well as Owens tickets and very familiar with this market. Regarding soccer in general, since the boom, a lot of arbitrary value has hit the market due to "rarity" or "significance". Imo. since many of the US collectors don't understand and can't relate to the cultural significance of a lot of the players/sets, there is a lot of misconception. As a life long soccer lover, the cultural relevance is crucial. Would love for the pair to see my collection and my pricing, and even then, I price up due to current "rarity", which at times hasn't lasted for many items. I hope i don't come off as a know-it-all or condescending. God bless.
