College did change me a lot and then after college i changed again. I was this really introverted person with non existent self-confidence. During college i was still very introverted, i went through a gaming phase (but did enjoy the new found freedom of a dorm and living close to some friends) that went away in my senior year when i had my internship. I was always pretty independent, but a dorm is awesome. The internship really changed me for the better, i did get more social right there and self confidence grew. Then after graduating and getting my current job, doing job interviews and getting into this "commercial" position where you have to keep your clients happy by sending applicants that would fit in and at the same time keeping in charge of the interviews (no more walking all over me like in the beginning) that changed me again. I feel much more self confident now. I'm still introverted, but when i get home, not at all at work. Still it has been an incredible journey.

This was so helpful!! I'm a junior in high school right now and looking at colleges is the most stressful thing ever! but listening to someone close to my age be honest about their experiences is really relieving. I actually looked at chapman a bit but it was a little to close for home for me haha (I live about 30 mins away from it as well) . but nonetheless this video was extremely helpful and I'm so glad your a KZbinr that talks openly about theses things! Yes! Im in my last year studying Graphic Design and trust me I can't draw at all and I have managed just fine but if you want a tip I would really invest in a light pad hehe you can always kinda cheat by using that if you HAVE TO draw anything....

I'm applying to Chapman as a transfer student, and just curious if you know if you can be both in a sorority and be an athlete there? I know some colleges don't allow you to do that. Also I'm a graphic design major too! I loved your 70 Days of Hand Lettering video 😊

Can someone explain to a clueless Brit what a sorority/fraternity is? I read a lot of American books and watch a lot of American shows and don't actually know what it means! Haha thanks! xx (if any Brits know, do we have an equivalent thing in university?)

So. Sororities/fraternities are kinda like a big ol' groups of friends that sometime combine to make a big club (all of Greek life). It's a lot of leadership types at the forefront (the presidents are the ones that are known around campus for getting shit done not just for Greek life but also like diversity activism, improving campus life, etc...speaking a little biased since I am a sorority president, haha, but those in charge really are the natural leaders that would've made a difference on campus no matter if they were Greek or not). But we all have a mix of extroverts and introverts, leaders and supporters, doers and planners, as does every group of friends. Have you ever had a group of girls that just get you? That you laugh with, plan with, get ready with, cry with? It's the same thing, except with an even larger, more diverse group of girls that teach and better you in all areas of life. And also we wear matching shirts, haha, but it's the same as a group of great girlfriends :)
