@Unmaed Maid puritan christians in particular have been noted for their sexual suppression. Many believe that Puritan influence in Boston contributed to the rampant child molestation in the Catholic Church. also, many Christian societies shame people who have sex before marriage, which causes people to have inexperienced and often unfulfilled sex because they "save themselves" for marriage.

Buddy... You ARE aware that this guy would be VERY anti-gay dating? He's very hard-core Catholic, and no, he's not an asshole to gay people, but he most definitely thinks gay people should NOT act on their... gay urges (?) He believes you can be made straight.

He definitely has some very valid points. But in this talk, and every single one of his other talks, he ALWAYS talks about men being the ones who want to have sex all the time, and women are the ones who try to hold it back from men and a month without sex makes men go nearly crazy. Come on now. There have been MANY times that my husband and I didn't have sex for 2 months (or more!) simply because we were busy or not in the mood and we were both FINE. That being said, there have also been times that I REALLY want to have sex, but my husband isn't into it. And vice versa. But most of the time we match up. The idea that men are these sex starved animals that cannot go longer than 48 hours without being able to stick their "thing" into a lady, and women being these "keyholders" of sex, that they don't really enjoy, just use to make men do what they want and withhold it to punish their man... It's all so dang old. Please. Stop.

People aren't going to like me for saying this but if you go out on even ONE date together, you are DATING. Dating is a VERB and that's what it means. But until official boyfriend/girlfriend phase happens, it's just that: dating.

@@keithrogers4170 well, most people think that if you go out on a date that you aren't dating. At least that's been my experience. Also, this guy has some points but a lot of what he says is crap advice that tickles women to hear. It's not a talk for men, it's a talk catering to women and it's painful to listen to.

@@reznet2 Yeah, I'm a woman over here, but I've noticed some of what he's commented is a lot of jokes and not very serious. I don't really like it when people dance around subjects as Everts tends to do. I don't think it's super fair to spend a ton of time on commentary without giving real advice. There is true advice in this video, such as removing bad influences from your life before going into relationships, but it's buried. It's not easy to listen to when he's dancing from topic A to B, or guys and girls. However, there is a true talk labeled directly for men on his KZbin. I think it's better than this one because he doesn't have to act. I think this guy is just used to having daughters, so he's used to summing things up pleasantly rather than informative. More guys have liked the other and I can find it if you'd like.

@@burningroses2399 I noticed that he doesn't really give any practical advice. Yes, ask a woman on a date, ok. But what about who to ask on a date? How should I approach a woman? Is there a script? How am I supposed to get a girl to like me/be impressed by me? Another problem is the world we live in is so paradoxical. Hookup culture is so pervasive, but at the same time, I'm afraid of being called out for sexual harassment if I just flirt with a girl. It might be easy within a Catholic circle, but I don't really meet any single Catholic girls in real life.
