“You’ve changed so much” is the biggest compliment. The fact that you aren’t relatable to someone means you have developed and skyrocketed and best version of yourself. When people say that , they want you to stay the same so they feel better about themselves. You are incredible and have upgraded so much. But the best part you’ve kept your kindness and humblenesss
@dakotahhovland92302 жыл бұрын
The term “relatable” can vary to each person! I’m a 29 year old mother of two and I love watching your videos. There are different things people can relate to in your content, not just sororities and college! Just showing yourself having bad day will inspire someone and allow people to relate to you. So thank you for showing your authentic self and people will always be able to “ relate” to that.

Same! I’m early 30’s mama of 2 and I love watching her as if she’s a younger sister , she reminds me a ton of my younger self and she’s not immature and annoying to watch, she acts very grown and I’ve been here since her first year , have witnessed nothing but positive growth and being vulnerable and real on bad days which is what keeps us all coming back!

40’s and kiddo going to college soon. What I’m so proud of in Lauren (that it took me few videos to see) is that she has done this herself. She took those gap years and worked until she could pay for her schooling. She could have given up, remained a nurses aide/in her home town and that would have still been great/expected. Married and had a family. She wanted more. My kids have worked hard but they have always been well supported in private schools, parents that run them around everywhere to every activity, and send them to every camp/clinic that could help them with their endeavors. I am so so so proud that she has created this life for herself. Since she didn’t have the money to go to school out of high school that hardship has propelled her to make the money, to work, to support herself. Lauren, I’m so proud of you. Be gentle with yourself.

Oh girl I felt every second of your little “break down” in the car! I’m on my way to becoming a lawyer in Germany and sometimes I think it’s all too much and I just want it all to be easier. And it’s never just one thing - it’s always ten thousand things at once! But as soon as you come out on the other, brighter side (and you will, some day or a week later) the feeling is so so great! You‘ll look back on everything that you are struggling with at the moment and you’ll be so proud because you’ll realize how strong you were. And the fact that you get up everyday to study, work and do your best is something to look up to and be proud of! And I was scared of tests too but at some point I just asked myself “Why?”. I (and you too I guess) took so many tests in my life during school, Uni and now at the court and never did anything bad happen..maybe I failed or the grade wasn’t great, but nothing HAPPENED. I survived and I moved on and I got better :) I am tired of being scared or anxious about something that I’m reality should test my knowledge.. maybe you can think about that too ❤

I’m a “non-traditional” student who has returned to school - and an older student at that. I’ve been a subscriber for a few months now and I’m so happy that you do this! While I’m still not in the same age group, I still have the same attitude and excitement about school and my future life! Not really any of my classmates have the same happy attitude and desire to be organized and adding self improvement into your “own course schedule” at the same time. I feel like I “fit in” - not many people have the drive to be the best they can be. Don’t let others opinions get you down. I binge watched your older videos and from what I see the outside may be different, but you still have the same core. You don’t really call people names when they are agitating you, you don’t swear all over the place (or I wouldn’t support you) and as far as I’m concerned, have portrayed your self as a lady - choosing a career that helps others and especially caring for children - trying to bring a positive influence into the world. Not to mention that you included some XL and up clothing sizes in your line which most boutiques don’t do. That’s supporting women no matter what size they are and that speaks loud volumes for who you are. Don’t worry about what the few who don’t see much say…. There are those out there who support you can see the much more …what a lovely person you are!!!!✌🏼🫶🏼😃 from an x-ray student in Florida!!!

Everyone changes, it is part of life. 4 years is along time. University is a defining time in your life and helps to shape you. For many it is there 1st time moving away from home, new responcibilites so of course you are going to change and adapt. If someone doesn't accept that or doesn't like the 'new' you, they need to move on. You have grown so much and be proud of it. Everything in our lives shape us. The more experiences and time we have lived the more we grow. Expecting someone to be the same as they were 4 years ago is insane. I started University as a 17 year old country kid who had never lived in a city with traffic lights, and who was so unsure of my own self worth and self identity. Now I am a 22 year old PhD student that is proud of who I am and how far I have come and (somewhat) knows who I am. I am not the same person I was and am happy about it.

I don't often comment on any KZbin videos but I wanted to say that I'm a married 32 year old, from the UK, didn't go to University and have a completely different demeanour/style/personality etc to you but I still enjoy watching you. You seem like a lovely person and remind me of Elle Woods (one of my fave movies!). Just because you can't relate to a person doesn't mean anything!! Relatable is such a fluid term though! I'm 30 years old and married but I JUST started KZbin so you inspire me so much! Apart from a love for pink and KZbin we probably have nothing in common but I love your videos!!!

You are relatable because I’m also a senior in college and so I understand everything that you are going through! You are doing great things! 💖

Don't cry Lauren ❤️ ignore that person. You're so relatable and you have changed but like you said everyone does and if a person never does change they aren't growing or challenging them selves. You have grown so much since the beginning in a good way ✌🏻❤️🌺

Hi Lauren. I’m a long time viewer and I’m also 60. I love your videos. You’re always upbeat and smiling. And it puts me in a great mood. Keep being you. We all change and grow as we get older. A friend says “I’m always trying to be a better version of myself than I was yesterday”. I also have test anxiety, especially when it comes to algebra. Algebra is my nemesis. lol Have a wonderful day.

Please ignore the rudeness of trolls!! I’m 37 and I never got to do the 4 year college experience myself. I absolutely love living vicariously through you!! You’re so sweet and should be incredibly proud of yourself🥰
