Thank you for showing us that not everything is magical and wonderful during the holiday. I feel that telling us about your mouth ulcers and discomfort made you so relatable and I'm thankful that you choose to include the bad with the good. I love watching your vlogs as escapism, but knowing that you are willing to tell us when things aren't so great make you even more likeable.

I also got mouth ulcers the week leading up to Christmas!!! AND it’s so crazy because they aren’t usually on the sides of my tongue but they were this time so I also sounded like a had a lisp and it hurt to eat/talk 😢 I used to get them a ton as a kid, but they really only seem to pop up now when I’m really stressed!

I suffered from mouth ulcers most of my life. They just found out that I have celiac and it turns out that chronic mouth ulcers is one of the many symptoms.

Hope you’re feeling better! We also had a kind of weird, unchristmassy Christmas. We have a six year old and just tried to make it magical for her, but from our adult perspective, life is anything but 🥴 Just gotta make the best of it. Happy New Year!

Hi Lauren! Hope you had wonderful holidays. This might be TMI, but I gotta help a girl out. Mouth sores/ulcers are a sign of a gluten allergy or Celiac’s. So, if you aren’t gluten free anymore or not being strict, that could be the cause. And talk to your doctor about them. I have a prescription for when they flare up. Obviously you know your body better than I do, but wanted to share just in case 😊
