I decided to go to Centennial College next year, I was planning to go to Los Angeles and study in Santa Monica College but rent is too expensive there and I don’t feel comfortable knowing I’ll have to spend about $80K USD just on rent alone if I study there for 4 years, Toronto rent is much more affordable plus coming from a warm tropical country in Asia, I always wanted to live somewhere that’s cold most year round with long cold snowy winter and Toronto fits the bill and it’s close proximity to New York is definitely a big plus for me to move there.

I think that it also much affordable in Toronto than in LA. I agree that the fact that toronto is closer to new york is like plus point since I also want to visit nyc someday

Centennial doesn’t seem to be as opened about transferring to Universities as Santa Monica College so I’m worried I wouldn’t be able to transfer to a university if I go to Centennial, hoping to go to York or Ryerson after
