tips on how you got a 1540 on the sat? It would be really helpful as a rising junior lol

Yeah! I think what helped me the most was taking a lot of practice tests & then after every practice test fully analyzing what I got wrong and trying to find similar questions to solve online (esp. for the writing & math sections). Once you take a bunch of practice tests you’ll see that a lot of the questions are very similar just with different wording/context. Other than that I think the Princeton prep book’s writing/grammar section was very helpful. I don’t recommend following their advice for the reading section though. If you want more in depth tips / workbooks I found helpful I could make a video on that too!

i thought princeton was REA, so you are restricted to apply to only one US school in early cycle. and she applied to 2 ea schools along with 1 rea school?

Hi! Yes, you can only apply to one school REA/ED, which in my case was Princeton. However, you can still apply to as many public schools for regular EA as you want since they are not binding. Hope this helps!

Exceptions are for public schools (most of which won’t tell you until after RD applications are due in any event) and then nonbinding applications to foreign universities like McGill or St. Andrew’s where you could find out early enough to inform your RD application choices.
