I think a huge thing working in CF25’s favor compared to Madden is the release schedule. Madden is unfortunately plagued by a yearly release deadline which pretty much guarantees that year over year change can’t be massive. The foundation is already built for the game, and since they only have a year they can really only build over mistakes rather than destroy and rebuild a better foundation. This game, on the other hand, is being built almost completely from the ground up, which ideally should give it a much improved starting point compared to Madden

Don’t know how popular of an opinion this is but I would honestly take like a full priced game every three to four years with yearly 40ish dollar roster updates. Use this game and what we assume to be its massive success and positive reception to transition sports games into truly good games instead of fancy advertisements for the leagues.

I completely agree with and I’ve been saying for years. After finding out on a Reddit post that almost all the sport games are built on old code ,madden needs a year or two off yearly release.Also as stop putting the game on old-gen which I know is holding things back too

All this information is definitely helping my case for really hyping up this game. But it’s not just the information given, it’s how they’re providing. The ncaa team feels very focused and really wanting to let people know what they’re up too. I think the dynamic crowds is such a good touch, especially for me when I’m doing a UConn dynasty lol as they aren’t the best. But I can’t wait for further deep dives I’m only hoping we can use like some of preset celebrations, custom fully of the stadium and such.

I’m looking forward to seeing the updates to team builder as well. It’s great you can create your own team but after seeing this presentation footage, if team builder is similar to the one in NCAA 14 (no fight song, limited jerseys, only being able to choose from 2 generic stadiums, no pre game tradition, etc.) I’m not sure I’ll want to do a team builder dynasty. But hopefully there are improvements!

I'm guessing modding was a big issue in getting a PC game out. I doubt they figured out how to stop moddera from creating real players, coaches, trophies, and other items they couldn't get deals with to put in games. They they are doing it this year, it would open them to lawsuits that they didn't want to deal with this year. I think they will figure it out next year.

Well -- per usual -- EA has its marketing down. How can you NOT be excited to play a college football game seemingly 10 years in the making? EA seems to understand that players expect this game to play better than Madden, & be more rewarding than NCAA 14. If they actually nail it, or even give it a solid "B" effort -- it will be a huge win for gamers, and garner some good will for EA. However -- Until we know, ill continue to rein in my expectations. The video game industry is lacking leadership and developer talent as it prioritizes politics and activism over merit. EA is guilty of some seriously depraved decisions -- so im going to need to see it to believe it when it comes to this game....or anything with an EA stamped on it. Fingers crossed tho.

ngl was a little disappointed nothing has been said about senior day being put into the game. it is a big part of the college experience and they wouldn't even need to do anything big. at the start of the game we always get some sort of player highlight or standings or stats overview or similar, all the would have to do is just put up a little pop-up screen with head shots of the senior players with their name, position and hometown with some generic commentary line about how "they came in as freshman and carved their own path and all the sweat and hard work has led to this last final game in this stadium" you could have just a few different takes and since senior day only happens once a year if you had the commentary switch it wouldn't be annoying
