Two of BYU's wins have come against teams that are currently ranked. I don't think Clemson or Iowa State have any wins against teams that are in the top 25 at this moment. BYU also has one of the strongest schedules. I can agree that it's a bit odd that Iowa State dropped while BYU rose in the rankings after they had very similar games, but you could also make the argument that Iowa State shouldn't have been 4 spots above BYU to begin with.

They’ll play soon enough. I’d take Buckeyes one on one but that’s not a knock on penn st. They’ll still make the playoffs I think

Clemson’s starting defense has been on the bench at the end of these games. UVA scored 14 against second and third stringers. The second string secondary is worrying but Clemson’s first string if they were to stay in in these games would still be pretty great

Good point, they did win that handily. Good call out. I still don’t think they are #3. I think a very good team and I picked them to make playoffs. But I’d put the Buckeyes 3. What are you thinking on rankings?
