Notre dame is tied for most wins over ranked opponents so if alabama is Alabama is allowed a slip up i don’t see why nd shouldn’t get in if they go 11-1

Note about the ACC- Clemson, Miami, and SMU all don’t play each other. Pitt plays SMU and Clemson I believe. So we could have 3 undefeated (in conference) ACC teams

After seeing Clemson play Georgia pretty sure they will lose at least one of their tougher games they have late in the season and then certainly lose in the conference title game to Miami giving them three losses, no damn way a three loss team should be in the playoffs when you have for instance a likely 12-1 Boise St whose only loss is by a FG on the road to the #1 or #2 team in the country Oregon.

Real issues with this bracket is Notre Dame after losing to Northern Illinois and then Clemson being #3 after getting smoked by Georgia, there are several other problems like Texas A&M being too high but those two I mentioned are crazy.

Why would that be the case? Navy is undefeated. Alabama and Notre Dame both have a great win. Navy is the group of five representative although I would pick Boise State. LSU is the outside SEC team, but they are the first four out. Could all change as next week it’s just for now a projection.

I’ve been more impressed with Clemson than Miami. Their week 1 loss to Georgia was bad, but Georgia is a really good team and week 1 games are always weird. LSU lost week 1 to USC but they’re still firmly in the mix and USC is out of it. College football is strange with this new 12 team playoff but I love it, stakes are so high now.

Eventually you’ll realize BSU will be top 10 team by playoffs and housing a playoff game…not just given the 12 rank. PS so many teams barely winning against unranked teams or losing not dropping in polls. What a joke. But that’s another story. The main point is stop saying BSU is a possible playoff contender. They’re past that and will be pushing top 5 rank. There will be another g6 school given the 12 spot. Oh stop, you are just being a igit, they just beat #2 team and honestly did not play well in doing so, they blew 13 give me points and the refs gave Ohio St 7 with that call that took away a legit Oregon int that resulted in a OSU TD, they easily should have won that game 45-24 and that is WITHOUT their best defensive player, Oregon is only going to get better and they still beat the #2 team in the country.

No way Clemson deserves to be that high they got rolled by Georgia, Notre Dame and Texas A&M are also too high. I would pick Army over Navy having seen them both play and honestly I think two lower level schools will be in the playoffs not just one. Your likely going to have a undefeated or 12-1 Army, depending on if they beat Notre Dame, Army is better than Northern Illinois that beat ND and then you will have a 12-1 Boise State that's only loss is to a 13-0 Oregon team by just a FG that will be #1 or #2. If Army or Boise St are kept out for a 9-3 SEC or Big Ten team people will freak. My team is number one in your scenario so I am pretty unbiased about the lower ranked teams. It just astounds me the pro Notre Dame bias, they freaking lost to Northern Illinois! they should not be in this conversation, yes I know they get a auto bid if they are #12 or higher but they should not be near #12 after that loss.
