Texas potentially has the path to beat all four conference champions to be the National champion. Texas beat Clemson, the ACC champion. If they beat ASU, they will have beaten the the Big XII champion. If they win and play Oregon and beat them, they will have beaten the Big Ten champion. If they end up in the final and play Georgia and beat them, they will have beaten the SEC champion. Texas potentially has the path to beat all four conference champions to be the National champion

Congratulations to Mike and the Vols for a memorable performance in the POs they didn't belong in in the first place. Frankly, if BN wasn't still trying to play OC instead of learning how to manage the clock or how to make in-game adjustments, the outcome of the UF/UT game would likely have been very different. Obviously, I do agree that although BN has done some things right, he has much to prove before he can be said to have officially turned the corner. But the view from 30K ft. for this old Gator is that I'd rather be in Billy's shoes at the moment than in Josh's. I know for a fact I'd rather have our roster - pretty much across the board. I also have a feeling that Vol fans are going to be looking back at an embarrassing first-round butt-whipping in the POs as the high point of Vols FB for some time to come. I think Oregon/Ohio state wins it all. Only exception is if Georgia somehow makes it to natty and Oregon/Ohio state lets Georgia drag them into a low scoring fist fight. Don’t think that happens but it’s really the only way I see Oregon/Ohio state losing.

Buckeyes will beat Oregon this time around. Remember they only lost by 1 point and they were about to kick a field goal and win. Also Oregon took advantage of using a a 12 man rule with the clock that changed right after the game. The only reason Ohio State lost.

the gap between #4 and #5 is way smaller than the gap between # 8 and #9. This is one of the several reasons why I think the CFP needs to be an 8 team system since there is only gonna be 8 viable teams because its college.

No it's not. If you go by seeding 4-5 is a huge gap, but if you go by ranking it's still wrong. Indiana and Boise st would have been a good game. Generally, the further down the rankings, the closer teams are to each other. Teams 20-30 are all basically the same.

On your videos JD, after the Oregon/Ohio State game… I said “Everyone is expecting a rematch and Ohio State is overlooking Nebraska, Indiana, Michigan, and Penn State.” And they almost went 2-2 in those games. That’s fine if people want to pick Ohio State to win. It’s not fine to claim they’re a better team than Oregon. They almost lost to Nebraska, people forget that game, and being 9-3 and not in the tournament. They might have smashed TN in the cold with players emotional about the talk of their coach getting fired, but their season suggests they’re not a consistent or a top tier team. Talent is irrelevant to me. How a group of people perform as a team is relevant. Ohio State is lower than Georgia, lower than Notre Dame, lower than Penn State and on par with Arizona State and Boise State in my odds to win. I do not live through recency bias. The body of work Ohio State put together through the season suggests they won’t win. Even if they beat Oregon. Can they then beat Texas? And then beat Notre Dame? I say no.
