Sorry you have not been well Chilli and good to see you are feeling better. I don’t quite know how because this job 110 was the most demanding I have ever seen and made me feel angry and depressed all at once. What are they teaching at that college? How to acquire a home and then throw all your rubbish over the fence ? The sheer complacency of passers by amazes me. Where is the local councillor ? This is a serious problem on their patch so shame on him/her. It’s an absolute haven for vermin but those who are throwing it there are just vermin too. Bless you for clearing up after them, they just don’t deserve you. 😇

Amazing job! I would imagine that is someone took care of the overgrowth, vines, and fence, there would be as much trash under it. When you were walking, it reminded me of the area in the woods where, no matter where you walked, the crunch of aluminum cans and plastic was just sad. Keep up the good work!

I just stumbled across your website today. I am now hooked. I live in Rhode Island in the USA and have walked all my life, because I love to. We do not have walk paths. We are getting more and more bike paths though since they have become popular. The sidewalks here in RI are disgusting. I, like you, are annoyed at the garbage people throw away. I have always wished I had a plastic bag so I could pick up the garbage. However, I would be in one place all day!! We do not have litter barrels like you do so I would never be able to carry them. We do however have garbage days were people leave their litter barrels on the sidewalks and when I was walking I would keep picking up things and put them in the barrels. The most littered places are at the bus stops. Even where there are litter barrels, they throw it on the sidewalk instead of putting it in the can. Good job keep up the good work.

By the amount of trash in these place, that doesn't appear to be true. If anything, the contrary is probably more true, if some area seems to have a lot of trash people seem to think that it must be ok to also sent one more thing, not talking about conscious people, but just people that don't seem to think that much... and yes, there are those that will throw out just because is what they think is correct, or is their culture... who knows? Lack of respect for others including nature that is for sure.

What an absolute mess! Was this an entrance to the park at one time? It looks like closing it off was a mistake that lead to all the the litter. Great job picking, dead slugs and all. Your Bee Gees improv was pretty good too.

I'm glad you're feeling better and that you took time for yourself. Everyone should always do that when necessary! This particular cleanup, being the first/ second after you returned, might have scared you back off your game. That was absolutely incredible. Very historic trash. It should take 10 years before it gets that bad again. I'm sure there's more buried deeper too!

wow that is a huge amount of garbage, i did a litter pick in calgary today filled one black bag and walked about 6 kms, and i thought that was a lot. but compared to what you did it was just a drop in the bucket, Oh and never get drunk on strongbow hahahaha I speak from experience from many many years ago.

The council whose domain covers each area you are working on should get a copy of each video. If they cant find enough money to fund a small maintenance gang then its a poor job. May be its poor organisation or if they exist they may be long term sick. Not having enough money is an excuse as old as the hills. Its up to the managers to divide it up properly. A big thank you for what you do however.

They're alright actually! I've managed to loosen them up now, I lightly sanded the inside plastic so there's no friction anymore. You just watch the marathon? UK taking 3rd!!! 💪

Yup, there's no public access to this area except by the gates I went through, which are locked each night. It's mainly used by the college kids at breaks and yet all I kept finding was washing up power, mops, laundry detergent...

I still wanted to get out and do something so i started plogging (litterpicking and jogging) and then there were days I could only walk so I just started litterpicking. I’ve always filmed my life so the litterpicking videos moulded my channel into what it is now! :)
