btw was accepted for class'27. I finished the roommate housing form and it was only like 5-7 questions and no music taste question. it was p disappointing compared to my friends :( But I'm still excited, thx for the vid!!

Could you make a video (or even just reply to this comment) about the different freshman dorms- their pros/cons, general ~vibes~, etc? I'm going to be a freshman next year but I really don't know anything about the different dorm choices or which one to try to get yet. Super helpful video though!

Hi. Great video. I was recently accepted to Tufts for grad school this fall and I am really looking to find off campus housing apartment options that are affordable. So when you make a video about that, can you please include the names of the housing complexes?

thanks! i will be covering mostly the area right by campus where most undergrads lives (lots of duplex and multiplex houses) but i'll do some research and link some of the popular housing complexes nearby!

Would you say that Tufts guides upperclassmen in securing off-campus housing or are students sort of forced to figure things out alone?

There are some resources that Tufts has (info sessions, a housing website) that help, but I think most students tend to learn the most from their friends/upperclassmen that they know!

Hi! I'm going to Tufts this fall, so thanks for the video. This is a late response, but do you know if you can specifically apply for a single/specifically apply for a dorm? Or, is everything just randomized?

i hope it helps! it's generally randomized, unless you request to live in the womens' housing or substance-free housing

Is there any way to request a single-gendered hallway? Also is there any way to get a single even when you don't want it?

Most freshman don't get singles, so I wouldn't worry about that. You can talk to the Office of Residential Life to be put in a dorm with single-gendered hallways, since a lot of the dorms are split up like that!
