This might be odd, but I like how you don't apologize for you being yourself. I watched this thinking that when I go back through old journals, I feel so ashamed of what I wrote and who I used to be, what I used to think, and what I wanted, bc now my goals are so different. It's really nice to see a video like this because I sometimes struggle to keep unfiltered and write without self consciousness in my personal journals for whatever reasons. x

this inspired me to go back to journaling. i have been journaling my whole years i high school then stopped in the summer to college because i was busy with college stuff and i hated the college course that i was getting. i basically ditched everything i used to do/my hobbies because i wasnt inspired and i wasnt really happy about my situation so i stopped writing. but i totally regretted it now. i am now getting into second year in college . i will totally go back into journaling.

I feel so much closer to you after watching these. I found your channel when I was in high school and now I am in college. I have been changing mentally and this transition has been a wild ride. I found that exact same journal you used in your senior year at Francesca's, although it had words on it, like wedding journal, or prayer journal, but you could just cover it up.

They're similar to Moleskines, only the pages are numbered and the paper quality is a bit better! If you like moleskines, you will definitely like them!

I've just come across your channel and i'm in LOVE! It's like we're the same person! I've just finished 3 years at uni studying Drama (sad that it's over) and i'm obsessed with writing and journalling too! Then you mentioned Fringe Festival and Theatre of The Oppressed and yaaaas! Wow... a thousand chords struck like a disjointed symphony. While this video is about your Journal Collection, the narrative (the actual content of the words) is what I took away from this "episode." A thousand questions waiting for a thousand answers comes to mind (and they would only breed a million more questions). "I entered school as an Actress and left school an Activist..." Passion is often found later in life while lust forms early. I think I might have to watch it again and come up with a thousand more questions.... My thousand questions are not about how to journal and what one should write or how one could be organized or creative... other than the fact that I laughed at your Left Handed statement. I too am a Lefty and quite honestly, I find it to be a miserable existence and cannot find much redeeming value in the virtue... but I digress. :) Rather my questions (a breed of a thousand) are more about the words "in-between" the words about Journaling. I know this is 2yrs old but on the off chance you still haven’t written in it or you’re having the same problem with another journal I just want you to know you can’t mess up!! The little “messes” and “mistakes” are what really give your journals personality and show they were well loved No one else (unless you let them) will see it so there is NO ONE to impress! Some of my most favourite journals aren’t the pretty perfect ones but the messy, packed, and carefree ones❤️
