It's just so beautiful and yet the way they can invoke almost a sense of horror underneath at certain times, like a beautiful dream that starts turning into a nightmare, but then it's back to just beautiful and ideal, a girl with love in her eyes and flowers in her hair.

I'm just wondering because this is the way we did it back then, why aren't you listening to the entire albums of these great bands? It won't make your single song discoveries the same regarding these videos, but you're getting your musical education using an eyedropper when you really need a shovel.

Truth by obbor4. I lived this generation of radio music and record albums. The albums are when you read their lyrics to their songs and a bit about other stuff about the songs etc. Modern technology wasn't advanced to utube or all videos. We played the albums non stop front to back both sides

You can never go wrong with Zeppelin. Please listen to Govinda and Tattva, 2 songs by Kula Shaker, you’ll like them.

For a song similar in mellowness to this, try Zep's, "That's The Way", off of their 3rd album. (Use the studio version. There's a great live version out there but Robert inexplicably changes the gender of a character in the lyrics that makes the whole song fall apart.)

Another one that shows their versatility and drips with blues sauce is "Since I've Been Loving You" off Led Zeppelin III album. You have to hear it!

I pronounce it, "Pert", because that's how I've been pronouncing it since I bought my first RUSH album in the '70s as a 12-year old. I learned the correct way to say it about 3 years ago, and I tried it on for size, but it just doesn't roll off the tongue. I'm afraid it's too late for me. LOL (Having said that, you're right to correct him. I don't have a YT channel. He does, so he needs to get it right. I only speak his name to my buddies, and we all say, "Pert".)

Led Zeppelin never had 2 songs alike. That's what stood them on top tier. Robert Plant is still performing live ( with Allison Krauss) check them out. Still amazing vocals by Robert....

Yeah when I moved to California in 1992 I remember writing my parents who were in Alaska and saying the line: Standing on a hill in a mountain of dreams..telling myself it’s not as hard…hard…hard as it seems! I’ve never regretted moving to the Golden State where I met my wife and we have our children! Thanks Led Zeppelin and Robert Plant in particular for this song!

A year ago in your first reaction to "Stairway to Heaven" you said you would do "Kashmir". Well it is way past time. Now you have to do (in my opinion) the GOAT rock song by the GOAT rock band live performance of "Kashmir" from the 2007 Celebration Day concert at London's O2 Arena. The boys never sounded better. It will blow you away. Enjoy!

Just sayin'.... During their eight years as a band, The Beatles had 20 No. 1 hits, and 34 Top 10 hits on the Billboard chart. Forming in 1962 (their first charted song was in 1964) and breaking up in 1970, not only did The Beatles' top songs, like "Hey Jude" and "Come Together," peak at number one, they also spent months on the charts. All that during the creative explosion of rock music. And as far "Beatles had Ringo" comment, go find a drummer that can/could improve any song he played on - good luck with that. Enjoy your enthusiasm, and your obvious love for Zeppelin, just be careful on some of that judgement until you see/hear the entirety of the era and those that literally formed it. Enjoy.

Going to California' was one of the tracks Zeppelin played during the acoustic segments in their sets between 1971 and 1977, and reflecting just how great of an effect Mitchell had on them, Plant would sometimes sing the word “Joni” after the line, “She plays guitar and cries and sings” The song was inspired by Joni Mitchells California song. I wore this album out and started to here the next song after this one. Wow. Awesome album
