bella matyukov if you have to pay a deposit then maybe wait! Pretty sure (not 100% tho) first year res is guaranteed so the time you apply for res shouldn’t affect your choice of residence:)

Noelle Cheng Ahh I wish I had advice but unfortunately it’s all based on the wait list:( I applied for year round in my first year but was only offered it in my third year (where some of my friends got it in second year) so I’m not actually sure how the res offers are given! If you don’t get it tho, I’d recommend finding a place with a couple of friends near campus - it’ll help cut down the rent if you share😊 Sorry, hope that helps a bit!

Hey! I study interdisciplinary studies and specifically focus on film studies and creative writing! Film courses that I’ve taken and love are ASIA 354 (Japanese new wave), FIST 332 (genre), and FIST 336 (European cinema)!😊
