I wanted to talk a little about mental wellness in this week's vlog! I also don't want anyone to think I'm brushing over or not being sensitive to those who are diagnosed with anxiety, depression, etc. These are just general tips for some other college gals out there! Michelle Reed i know this sounds bad but I was just recently diagnosed with depression. I worked, worked out and ate well but I still couldn’t get out of my head. Ended up needing to take medication and honestly it helped a lot.

Maybe next weeks theme could be about how you budget for groceries and how you plan meals for the week/what you buy that can be used in multiple ways to save money but keep meals interesting! I try and spend a max of 70 dollars per week on groceries and it can be difficult to plan in a way where I get all my food for the week but I'm not super bored eating the same thing everyday

Hi there! I never comment on KZbin videos but I just wanted to take the time to say your videos are so great. I’ve been having a rough week with being so busy and college and everything and anytime I watch your videos you remind me to take time for myself and make me feel like that is completely okay to do. I agree with you on the hustle culture, I’m surrounded by it at school and by my friends and it gets so draining so it’s really nice to hear someone advocate against that. I used to always wear my headphones whenever I walked to and from class and recently I started to not wear them a few times a day and I've noticed such a big difference! My head feels so much clearer and at peace when I'm not listening to anything and I'm more present.

I’d 100% recommend Vitamin D supplements for seasonal depression! Last year I was feeling really depressed all winter so I decided to try them this year and I’ve been feeling a lot better. It’s obviously not the only thing that has changed and it doesn’t "cure" depression but I believe that it has helped me a lot :)
