CEOs of big corporations may be backing off of college degree requirements, but Karen the hiring manager in HR will still find an excuse to throw your resume in the trash if it doesn’t have a BA on it.

Hey! I just wanted to say your videos have been super helpful. I recently decided to go back to college and use my military benefits through the VR&E program. I already have an associate’s - basically what you call a Chipotle degree in liberal arts/general studies - and thanks to your content, I circled back to Liberty University instead of going back to AMU, haha. I’m currently having my credits evaluated and pursuing a BBA in Data Analytics with a focus on HR, which ties into my military background in HR and information systems. I even mentioned your channel when talking to admissions. Appreciate all of your valuable guidance!

You really had some emotion in this one. A different type of video from you in ways. Definitely lifted my spirits. I have a Bachelors in Business Admin from SNHU. Graduated last August. Im finally ready and confident to use that degree for a promotion and what you said here about going for it just hit the nail on the head to push me toward that. If i can promote, im going for my Masters. Probably at UMGC. Thank you.

Hey Cliff! Happy New Year! I just wanted to let you know I’m a silent viewer who never commented but absorbed soo much information you posted here. I was able to get 75 credits from Sophia in less than a month and I’m starting UMPI next week. I was hoping to book a consultation with you but to be honest I really don’t have that extra money to spend (hence the reason why I need to get this degree so I can get a better job and pay my bills) so I really hope the plan I’m laying out for myself works 🤞. I still want to thank you for your information, it really helps us who is looking to go back to school and think we’re so far behind the 8 ball. Please wish me luck with this endeavor.

My last job made me not want to put time into a company because they want you to do things against your morals or get your job eliminated. So, I opened my own business and I'm going back to school to get the credits to take the CPA exam which I've already had my EA license. Even at 50! Unfortunately, my credits from my other degree didn't transfer so I'm starting over. Hoping to graduate early with the help with College Hacked!

I found your channel a few months ago. I am finishing my bachelor's this quarter. I feel like I'm struggling with options for grad school and phd programs that are competency based. I know UMPI has a few and other schools you've recommended but can you do a deep dive into your top 5 grad schools and and top 5 that offer Phds? Especially for working parents or busy business owners? I dont want to fall into a trap of choosing an overpriced grad school.

Think it this way. For the individuals who are either older, burned out, complacent, etc. you go back get your bachelors degree you now proved to yourself that you can accomplish anything and reignites a drive to be successful. This drive may take you to a masters or a better position you have this new confidence that will get you to new places. As long as you dont just sit and get complacent again the sky is the limit

The issue I have with your argument is that you're equating education with college and college does not have a patent on education. There are many alternatives pathways to gain in demand skills nowadays and employers are increasingly recognizing that.
@CollegeHacked

I just enrolled at UMPI, and I will have 15 classes left for the bachelor of arts in project management and information systems. If I change to a liberal arts degree, I will have 10 classes left. I have significant experience in IT and want to check the box of having the degree, but I still want a degree that looks good on my resume. What do you think my best option is?
@CollegeHacked
@CollegeHacked 16 күн бұрын
If you have 15 classes left, and I can get you down to 10 classes, which I can, your best option is to hire me for $295 to save you $1,405 ($1,700 term at UMPI - our fee) 😜 Either way, I would stick with the PM & IS, you’re super close.

Probably don’t do it, unless there’s a strong pay increase. If you just want the knowledge there’s likely to be less expensive ways to get it. But it all depends on ROI and your goals.

Hi, I hope you don't mind me putting this comment but for people who don't meet the basic entry requirements for acceptance into University/College due to lacking High School level qualifications, The Open University is an Online/Distance University with UK royal charter and founded by the British government in the 1960s. They have no entry requirements, accept international students and their international fees are only £3,763 per year (part-time)! I am in my last year with the OU and can't praise it enough. I am looking at UMPI to do another bachelor's and hope they will accept some of my 360 OU credits for their Your Pace BS Healthcare Administration. The OU to my knowledge can't be "hacked" but I am sure the transferring credit department may consider credits from Sophia as their whole ethos is about making higher education accessible to all. I also believe the OU has American accreditation with the Middle States Commission. Hope this helps someone out there

DC area min wage is $18 hourly with no time investment required into studying to get the job. "College" requires 1000x more study hours??? Yet the pay is only 3x better?? College is *signaling* to employers that you are already wealthy enough to be able to afford not being paid at parity to your investment. Employers actually exploit this, by then further underpaying people under the guise of doing work for "mission, values, and purpose" opposed to for an unadulterated ROI on the time investments. This is the challenge college has in a strong economy. But if you can't get a minimum wage job in DC, college is a great option if for no other reason than the meal plan and housing.
