This discovery will reshuffle archeology in some primary ways and Berger is correct in that some well respected archeologists are not going to like or approve of Berger’s claims that such small brained hominids could accomplish numerous things we would only attribute to Homo sapiens. There is no doubt that homo naledi may be an odd offshoot of anthropology that is quite unusual but will rearrange how we view hominid development.
