Dell, HP are more durable and long lasting , and have better motherboard quality, after sales service is much better than other brands. I have been using a dell inspiron laptop for 10 years and it still runs very efficiently for coding. If you are not going to do gaming, do go for dell, hp, or apple. It's a onetime investment.

Apne bol raheo ho Lenovo is a good laptop. But I think it is not so nowadays because I had bought Lenovo Legion 5 in 2022 and it is not lasting more than 1.5 years. Even, I went to repair in most of the repair shop market in Kolkata, West Bengal. But they are unable to repair the motherboard related issue. And I also tried to buy a new Motherboard of that Lenovo Legion 5 Laptop. But, there is no available in the Market except Lenovo Authorised Service centre which wanted Rs. 70K -75K for that new Motherboard and it's warranty would be max 3 Month. If it would be cost Rs. 70K -75K for that new Motherboard with 3 Months Warranty, it would be far better to buy a good laptop by that price with more than 3 Months period.

I think lenovo thinkpad 16 Reasoning - I personally have a lenovo legion y530 that i bought 6 years ago still faster in many ml algo than my companions who are purchasing laptops in range of 40-50 k Also many points were not covered in the video Screen size - if you will do coding then agar screen chota hai toh 4 ghante se jyada karne pe akhe dikhne lafengi so go for a bigger screen Also codinge not only means running it on system with a notebook like app you might be asked to practice on vim editor in linux and for that you might have to use virtual box hence you need better processor otherwise your vm will have a lag in typing which can really frustating at times. Computer graphics aur ml ke courcea 5 th semester me ate hai vaha par max kam vaise to collaborate mai ho jayega but kuch ml algo ya projects ke liye jupyter ke through pc pe hi chalana padega or you can uselab of your college if available I think i5-12450 h is a good processor and will probably handle the above mentioned very well also processor ke alava laptop me screen quality hi dekhni hoti hai baki sab you can upgrade

That shouldnt be your concern tho. Its still one of really good ones. You can go for it easily. Altho youre concern should be its support, till when apple is gonna support it. '26-'28 max. I really wanted to get it.
