I like Keetin but seriously, "I was prepared for Emma" is not a real excuse in any way. I don't think she should comeback at least not to the innergeekdom. The first round is the round that best shows your level of base knowledge and she scored 1 point. She didn't get the Harry Potter question right and that's suppose to be her strength while Adam did get it and harry potter is one of his weaknesses. Plus the only point she got was when she made a guess at the number of Star Trek movies that was realesed in the 90s, I mean I doubt the she actually knew, it was probably a quilified guess
@MozuProductions6 жыл бұрын
Pretty sure she was "playing that part up" man.... it's not like she really showed up not knowing what was going on. As for the rest, so she had a bad day, A REALLY BAD DAY, it happens.
@michaels.83096 жыл бұрын
I feel like people have such a short term memory when it comes to the Schmoedown. Just last match Keetin got a TKO. Give it a rest, one bad match doesn't mean she shouldn't come back. Two more in a row and then maybe you can build a legit argument.

@notoyaarthur19906 жыл бұрын
Bad match my ass. If u paid attention to her other matches she's really not a good intergeekdom competitor. This isn't the first time that she's gotten harry potter questions (that's her strength) and then missed them. She's definitely not a strong intergeekdom competitor. Her excuse about training to play Emma was really weak, it doesn't matter who u were supposed to play, u r still supposed to watch movies from all categories coz u never know what u will get. And her intergeekdom game is weak, as proved by this match and her all her others.

Reyhan Çeviker agreed...we sat through a few rough ones but these last three matches are going to be fantastic. I kinda hope the final match is 5 rounds like the Schmoedown singles tournament... unlikely though since they're facing Inman soon after and that'll be 5 rounds

Its a small thing. However, the promo starts with saying how Jason Innman will defend his title against the winner of the Innergeekdom tournament, then flashes up four players. 3 of whom had won their matches already and someone who was about to play.

I was going to complain... But let's actually talk about Adam. In previous matches, he's been accused of only knowing comic book movies. Matches like this aren't super entertaining to watch, it was kinda rough. I think, like I've said previously, players need to be vetted a bit better to make sure they can hold their own. You could say she had an off game, but same thing happened with her last match. But yeah, kind of disappointing
@ajl97726 жыл бұрын
They are limited by who they know is available/wants to compete. This comment section is why people who I'm sure would be great are afraid to test themselves under the lights. Them deciding to make this a tournament two matches in and not having a ranking system made this whole thing a mess. Navaro and Adam shouldn't have played each other in round 1. Neither should have Mike and Jared. Those matches only made sense when the winner was competing in the 5 way.
@Smokey14196 жыл бұрын
Hector and Adam need to make a faction again, but glad to see him hold his own in singles. Good luck to both players!
@olivercation18206 жыл бұрын
For a competition that covers what is comparatively a tiny slice of movies, its amazing how bad some of these people are. I would have no idea personally but I wouldn't put my hand up for it either. For everyone who sucks at LOTR, read the books, that was all the names and shit will sink in. Seriously there is half a dozen people who are worthwhile to watch in this league and they generally do well in the normal league too and prefer to be there (Cushing is a prime example)
@dondayelbano32626 жыл бұрын
After watching Hlavac run through movie release dates a while ago and seeing that Marchi was his opponent, I knew she was going to get slaughtered. I don't doubt that she loves this stuff, but there's a difference in your passion being based solely on admiration vs other competitors who really dig deep and analyze every part of a movie. This season has had a few matches that were just straight up massacres.

Would have loved to see Keetin do better, but she had a tough draw. Adam played a hell of a match here, in a really difficult round 2 category.
