It would’ve been cool if they had made him really angry and/or upset at the death bc then it’d be like okay, his reaction is justified because that was his nephew, but you could also theorize about whether he was perhaps so affected by it for other reasons. As bad as his character is, I think he’d definitely be very partial to his own children.

I always say even if this isn’t true. It is 1000 times better than Aegon and Helaena shit marriage in both show and canon source. Honestly, I am Team Helaena. Not even bothering on choosing between the greens or the blacks. Phia Saban's performance is especially noteworthy and adds significant depth to a character that could easily have been overshadowed. Her ability to convey Helaena’s otherworldliness, coupled with an undercurrent of quiet strength and sadness, makes her a standout presence in the series. Sometimes people forget that Helaena was basically a footnote in the books. She was loved, but hardly developed. Phia's performance has given the character more than GRR Martin did.

They did not have any scenes together as far as I know. But their characters are still related 😂 Ewan's character in The Last Kingdom was bastard son of Phia's character's father there. So he's her uncle😂 in The Last Kingdom. While in House of the Dragon he is one year younger brother than her.

So far it's only in ep 5 and like 10 seconds, she asked him "Was it worth the price?" He did not answer but it left open to the audience how interpret the way he looked at her and interesting is he knew she's behind him before she spoke. Let's see if they will have real interaction in ep 7 and 8 of this season 2.

Binge watching a series of interviews of the cast and this, by far, is the most painful to watch for some reason lol it's like the interviewer would speak for 2 straight minutes and then the actors would answer in a few words. I'm unsure if she's fangirling so much hence the nervousness or just.. I don't know. Too wordy questions and unnecessary side comments. Phia & Ewan sensed her tension, that's why they tried to return the question back to her to help her relax, I guess

Helaena and Aemond are one year apart and the time jump from episode 7 to 8 is 6 years. Which means in episode 10 Helaena is 17 and Aemond is 16. The twins were born in the time jumped up. However if Aemond was 10 in episode 7 that means Helaena was 11 in episode 7. So she had the twins when she was 12? The twins are around 4 in S2E1 they don’t even speak yet. And Aegon took Aemond to the street of silk to be sexually A by an old prostitute at age 13. Aemond tells us this in episode 9. He is not ten in episode 7. He is older than jace and Luke. He was meant to be 10 and Jace was meant to be 6 and Luke 5 but they were age up. In canon Jaehaerys and Jahaera are 5 when Jaehaerys died in 129 AC. Aegon III was 9 at the start of war and Viserys II was 7 yet in the show they are not even 4 years old. The show changed the timeline and the characters ages.
