Collier County: Workforce Housing Property Dedication Ceremony

Collier County held a Workforce Housing Property Dedication Ceremony at the Golden Gate Golf Course property. Collier County is pledging to dedicate 25 acres at the southeast corner of the Golden Gate Golf Course property to help address the workforce housing needs of our area.
With the generous assistance of our benefactor community, Rural Neighborhoods is planning to construct 252 affordable apartments for essential service workers in addition to 100+ units for senior citizens and veterans.
The Rural Neighborhoods project is financed in part by the U.S. Dept. of Treasury, under federal award #596000558, the U.S. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and Collier County Community and Human Services.
