Excellent opening statement by the Prosecutor. Very, very good -- grabbed my interest from the second he began his opening statement. Collin Griffith should never ever be free. I pray he gets the death penalty and/or LIFE in prison without parole.

Still watching, but if this "kid" already offed one parent and is threatening your life to everyone and their brother, and you're scared to the point of installing video cams and having the police periodically checking in, maybe you should have had him institutionalized. The opening statement is very important to the Jury. The Jury DOES pay close attention to the opening statements. It isn't "forgotten" by the Jury and the opening statement is NOT placed in the background and ignored.

His opening statement was very good. I remember when he killed his mother after he killed his dad supposedly as self defense based apparently on the AG in another state. I heard a lot of talking like he had some kind of psychological problems but still I feel he’s an evil cold murderer. She could’ve left him under the state care but her as a mother and she didn’t ask almost nothing from him. I don’t know what kind of defense strategy his attorneys are going to use to convince a jury that he’s not guilty. I didn’t know until now they were reopening or still investigating the murder in Oklahoma. He needs to be behind bars away from society because if you kill who would be the 2 people that cares for you imagine anyone in society means nothing to him. I imagine is going to be more heartbreaking to watch the evidence.

Tough or soft love doesn‘t help in raising a psychopath.
@lisas8244
@lisas8244 8 күн бұрын
@erikaxchristine Apparently you are incapable of understanding that this young man was disturbed and sociopathic, meaning he lacked the ability to have empathy for anyone but himself. For someone who is this disturbed and bent on destruction, tough love only makes him angrier and more violent. The mother thought she could instill responsibility in him but was not prepared for what she was dealing with. Obviously, in hindsight she should have had him removed from the home the first time he became violent and obtained a protection order. There are some people who can't be fixed. Tough love doesn't work in cases such as this.

Collin got off from killing his father from self defense Then his mother had custody of him But they were having problems. I read the whole story After mother & son had a argument at one time Collin fled to Florida to live with his grandparents Eventually Mother went to get him, at another time in 2023 Collin was charged for being seen pulling his Mom by her hair. Father & mother's incidents were 18 months apart. I read that this kid has some mental issues & has PTSD in this case he is trying to pursue this was self defense just like he got off from his farher, I dont think this time he will get off so easy. I always look up stuff to get the whole story before watching any trials People should do the same then just assume things.
