actually, the opposite... The PGA has been experimenting with longer holes since guys started being able to hit it so far... They want to change courses and make the game harder since guys are so good... It would be like turning the 100m dash into a 110m dash to avoid guys breaking records because guys keep sprinting faster and faster.

Starting scores at the Tour Championship are adjusted based on FedEx cup points. Higher you’re ranked on the points list, the lower your score to start out. The leader (Scheffler) starts at -10. Silly concept IMO.
