What a player! That guitar has the ability to convey whatever colors and nuances the player desires. Great stuff

Redd Volkaert is the greatest! It's definitely worth a trip to Austin just to catch his regular gig at the Continental Club with Heybale. So tasty.

OH WELL, HE SHO DO PLAY GOOD ON THAT GIBSON TELECASTER. ROFL! YOU PLAY IT REDD, YOU IS DEE MAN, HOW ABOUT SOME MOTORCYCLE COWBOY NEXT TIME!

waaay too much money Collings. You are priced at about 1k over your competition for no good reason.

BUT....worth every penny in my humble opinion...especially if you shop and buy used...which is what I did. Been playing in bands since a kid 1956...buying selling guitars, teaching, blah-blah. Soooo much better in every way than a LP...(I've owned 23 plus used a Custom for 24 yrs in a band). I have 1400 in mine like this. THE best by far...yep lotta money new for sure, I agree..but LPs are almost as high and dont have the quality materials, details and workmanship.

Go onto Reverb and check the prices of old Les Paul Jr.'s and Specials. You can buy one of those or you can buy a new Collings, and the Collings is going to be significantly cheaper. Believe me, I wish I could go into a pawn shop and pick up an old Les Paul Jr. for a few hundred bucks, but those days are sadly over. Everything is seen as an investment today. If you want the Junior or Special "experience," I think your best bet is to buy a new or used Collings.
