Having owned at least one Collings since about Feb. 1992, my vote for dreadnought is D2HT (traditional). I didn't think Bill could make 'em better, but he did. Mine is plain old sitka. It'll do.

Good comparison! All it needs at the moment is the addition of the Traditional Series. I have a D1AT and it certainly has its own tone.

What if you're looking for a guitar with good lows, highs and MID's? Too many look for a guitar with "schooped" (out)" mids. What if you're doing solo work. Just you and you're guitar? And you WANT good mid's...
