Great game by Bruzz in his 200th. Played a big part in our win as well as being the inspiration for the comeback. A day he'll never forget. Congratulations

Mcrae, has made Collingwood Collingwood again.. Mighty Mick, done it and Leigh Matthews also.. As much as I loved Bucks as a player, he couldn't.. Didn't have the man management skills.. u can tell how united this team is, how much they love there coach.. Leigh and Mick , had a fear and respect about them ( with love) afcourse.. Graig well such a great bloke, his totally invested with his player's, staff , families and us boofheads as fans.. his like your favourite uncle, dare say if the team were out together one night someone decided to have ago at him.. there'd be 44 blokes head first in to protect and defend him, good luck getting infront of Maynard.. This is why we r the best club on the planet. Side by side we stick together, Go Pies..

I think that overlooks just how close things were. Bucks coached a squad that fell one goal short of a premiership, McRae coached a squad that made it by one goal. That one goal does make a difference, but it's not like Bucks didn't have what it took.

@@HorizonOfHopeBut Bucks was our coach for too long, in all those years in charge he was only able to deliver us runner’s up title. He should’ve been replaced well before he left but sentiment got in the way. Yet Fly changed the culture & we won the final, that the difference.

It's funny how Hill looks tiny and Maynard looks short next to Moore. But Hill is basically just average size for a man, Maynard is a unit and Moore is an enormous person.

my favourite player & why ? He still plays the game the old school way, hard but fair to such degree that whenever he's confronted by a 50:50 hard ball contest you know he's not gonna flinch but more importantly you know any opponent to the same contest would be feeling like "awww no why me!!" Sure "if ifs & buts were fruit & nuts it'd be Xmas everyday" but if this fella was apart of the excellent 2003 minor premiers pies side that later on squared off in the big dance that September against a much bigger boned Brisbane Lions crew of mature age men, they wouldn't have been allowed the relative risk free luxury of arrogantly throwing their weight around without fear of material physical reprisal in consequence nor allowed to monster us on the score board in the process to the degree they ultimately did that day. To the casual observer it coulda seemed like such an unequal contest that played out in the middle of the MCG on that not so special September GF day, basically like a bunch of skilful albeit skilful adolescent beta men attempting in vain to match it against their masculine alpha superiors when it was just another typical blow out non event that history proves can and does not infrequently happen when one side gets rattled early & the other makes them pay dearly for it accordingly but with the likes of Braydon Maynard calibre in the mix on said day of chronic collywobble GF infamy, I reckon there's a good chance the psychological arm wrestle would never have been allowed to get as horribly lop sided as it particularly did unfortunately early on in that non contest abortion of a game!! So yeah that's basically why I love the dude.

I love Buck's as much as u.. But that doesn't make him a great man manager, u need this when your a senior coach.. Behind the scenes, theres one former player and current board member that needs a special mention.. With out him, not sure where would be. Certainly not last year's premiers.. Here's why, He pushed for a change at the club. Upstairs and on the ground, Eddie and Buck's time at the club has reached its over due period. No one will ever question what they done for the colligwood footy club ever. Infact needs to be 2 new statues built in there honour.. ill get to my point, Paul Licuria is a great man.. his the one who knew we needed change, had the courage to say so and tell Eddie and Bucks this.. Bucks just wasnt good to players who wernt driven and loved footy as much as him.. licka was the one who got Mcrae to the club.. was on Jeff's Browne's ticket for the new board. U cant tell me the club is not in its best period on and off the field at the minute. U know before Browne took over the club , was in a few million debt.. not now .. licka, Browne, kelly were on the ground together soon as the siren went at last years grand final .. Snr Daic's to i might add.. u just know who good blokes r.. read into this as u like, but some people r a lot different than they r when there not on camera.. Remember Eddie stuck up for Dan Andrews, the day Darcy questioned him on an important matter.. luke is a solid human being.
