2007 i was transiting to Dubai through Joburg airport. There was a massive group of South Sudanese and possibly other African families lining up to board a Quantas jet. As I've got intetests in both South Sudan and Australia, I asked a guy in the queue what was happening. He told me they were "refugees from South Sudan, coming from an UNHCR camp and flying to Australia". Seeing this now warms my heart and blows my mind. I've always argued hard that Australia should ONLY allow refugees coming through legitimate channels, and not 'queue jumpers' - and i've lost friends for that stance. I'm not saying it was this family, this flight - that would require research. But this is evidence that supports my stance. A stance maintained by the last 2 governments despite continued howling by some. A fair go, done right. Every success young man. God bless your family, and go the Magpies.

Can be a great player but not quite ready. Has the talent and athleticism.He needs to bulk up with the body with about 10+kg as he will need the bigger body to match the bigger forwards if he is gonna make it in the sport at AFL level. I also dont understand how and why Nth were celebrating 25yrs from winning a flag. I didnt know premierships were won in June.

Good story but playing AFL is not playing sport at the highest level. It's not the NBA or EPL.

It's funny how you use the NBA and not the NFL. Because basketball and soccer are international and American Football is like Australian Football. But basketball was invented to be an indoor practice activity for American Football players. But you are entitled to have an opinion on what is the highest level of a sport. 😂
