You guys might not be able to see but at 1:42, you can see two men, one sitting and the other standing at a table (white shirt, black hair) behind the clothes shop towards the right. Well if you can see, that man does calligraphy. About a month ago, me and my family went to Turkey and he was one of the first shops we went too. He was very friendly (like all Turkish people) and had very good prices. His calligraphy was AMAZING and writes in Arabic and English. We had a good conversation for like 30 mins with him and he gave my parents a really pretty card with both their names on it and it looked really nice for FREE coz he said many people get ripped of in the bazaar so here is something to cheer up our day as our taxi had cancelled meaning we had no taxi to take us back to our hotel. I still have a bracelet I got from him which says my name! It was very kind of him and he was such a positive man. I recommend everyone to go to him. I also have many other shops to recommend if u want to know, just ask in the comment section😊

Turkey is so complicated regards to textile. It is paradise if you have a local person who knows the shit about things. Because there are 3 type of textile stuffs. 1) Cheap fake; usually costs between 10-30 liras on tshirts, bags, shoes etc. you want to stay away from those. it wastes of money. you can find anywhere in asia and they are mostly import from china. 2) Good fakes; those are mostly made in Turkey. I swear, i buy adidas, nike sport wears, you cant distinguish quality from original. they costs between 50-100 liras for jeans, shirts, sportswear etc. 3) Turkish brands; I highly recommend those ones. especially leather things. Dont buy leather as fake because they are bad quality but go for Turkish brands. cheap and best quality.

@@Kinxzy. Yes I agree there are different qualities in fakes but there is no good quality fakes. Anyways why would I want to spend for $500 on fake Rolex ??? I mean I would rather buy Tag Heuer for $1000 and wear it with pride, support a proper company rather than sweatshop in China and also have the peace of mind that my purchase is backed by a manufacturer's warranty.
@gubroojatt5 жыл бұрын
@@Kinxzy. No sorry a knock off watch from Chinese sweatshop and a Swiss made Tag Heuer are no comparison. Even a $200-300 Lorus watch is better quality than a $500 fake Rolex. I just cant understand people's mentality, if you cant afford a genuine item then buy something cheaper which suits your budget. Still great quality, will last for years and you can wear it with pride coz you are wearing a genuine item. Moreover the money you spend will go into further research, development and design so you can keep enjoying quality items.

@LogicPak6 жыл бұрын
Jessica Lopez well yeah, Turkish fakes are generally made in Turkey , and generally speaking anything made in turkey as opposed to ‘’made in China” does have noticeable difference. Having said that there’s different grading of fakes, for instance some fake Rolex’s can cost up to a thousand dollars, so still 80% cheaper than the original, but only an expert eye would notice the difference .

Pro tip: They will not tell you this but they are very superstitious. They are not allowed to refuse the first customer, like if first customer walks away without buying anything they will have bad luck in sales the whole day. Sometimes they will even give stuff for free because of this. I do not recommend doing this and being an asshole about it because they will curse you afterwards, but you can squeeze a fair price out of them with less effort. (works best on greedy shopkeepers)

I love how people call these "fake" or "replicas" when in fact they're actually made in this country. All big brand companies do is to put like an "authenticity" sticker or something on it. Don't know about the shoes but belts, shirts, etc seem to have decent quality. From your videos the shoes like to be of fine quality as well.

@@WillFXdesign is that the reason why these so called “fakes” need to be “legit checked” nowadays? Quality control can’t be that great if you literally have to inspect the “fake” to tell the difference. Most of the time difference is very subtle too.
