I actually enjoy watching sonic games, although maybe i cant say much since i only watch Sonix', specifically modern matches GnW isnt that exciting imo in comparison, his edgeguarding isnt nearly as interesting as sonic's, but ofc i dont mean this as an insult to anybody, just pointing out my preferences when it comes to watching characters fight

@@willycheez7218 every single aerial GnW has beats abk, unless you can hit the top part of GnW during his dair, which is hard to do consistently. And even if you do, GnW has one of the best combo breakers in the game with his frame one up-b. You’re one of the few ppl I’ve come across that’s tried to claim this matchup is even.

This is such an annoying matchup. You cannot contest the shield of G&W up close. Every move made against him is essentially a hard read right down to how much G&W's nair will hit the shield to up B out of shield. It's even a risk to carry G&W off the top of the opponent SDI's properly to get out and score a counter up B of their own. In addition, G&W is hard to edge guard because that up B and down air. You have to hope the Witch Time works the right way to properly edgeguard G&W.
