I could see it! This or the Black Hole Symmetry would get you there, depending on the flavor you prefer. I bought 2 BHS though, so that tells you something haha.

i have the Black Hole Symmetry pedal which i really like. even though the Nocturnal is a different pedal, is it different enough to justify having both?

They're both great, I did a video on the BHS recently as well, and I own both, buuuut to reduce it down, it's really about the drive/fuzz on the BHS and the tremolo on the Nocturnal. I think it would be hard to pick one, there is a little overlap in the reverb/delay sections, but there's enough there to warrant having both I think. This stuff holds value so well that I always suggest just picking up whatever you're interested in and trying it out. You can sell it for a small loss after trying it out for a few months, and if you think of it as a rental fee, you're not out that much. Hope that helps a little!

Which reminds me! They just came out with the Singularity, which means you could have the Nocturnal and then add the fuzz from the BHS on the side haha, sadly what you have is the other way around, but still - an option for anyone else who might read this haha.
