I bought the penny PE last year and I absolutely love them. They are gorgeous. I also got the neon Royals this year and I have to say seeing them side-by-side almost make you emotional.. I’m from Central Florida born and raised and I’m 44 years old so I was in my mid teens when the Foams originally dropped to be a grown man and finally fulfill the dream of having the penny PE that was on the cover of basketball magazine in 1997 and the blue ones that were on the record player while Tom Jones was singing is incredible! Good vid! I remember seeing the Comercial for these back in the ' '97 then seeing someone mob in on the bus with em' back in middle school and I was like wtf! I Couldn't stop staring plus I was a huge Penny fan way back when. Couldn't afford em' then but I copped the 2010'$ & the colorway was on point dope tho'!

This content is 🔥🔥🔥 Definitely did a great job highlighting Penny and breaking down the reason for the love of the Royal colorway. I love the touch of the outlined swoosh and as much as I struggle with actually wearing Foams due to my wide feet, I’m going to have to treat myself on release day. Lol. ✊🏿✊🏿

The 2024 pair is more true to the sample model shown in the ad at 2:50, which you alluded to when mentioning all the tweaks and updates they did (black and blue carbon fiber, blue outlined swoosh, etc.)

I haven't been wearing them because I only had these 07's until I picked up the white pair and these new Royal's. I got rid of all my other foams because they had more value a while back. I figured the only foam I needed was the royals. I still want that Tekken pair.

@@ColoCulture yeah, but they didn’t tell you the mold is completely trash. Look at the ridges and height of the foams from 07. Completely different shoe in 24. I wish you would have captured how different they are being as though you have both pairs in front of you. All foams made in Taiwan >>> Made in China Ever since that change has been made, foams have slowly became trash.

@@ColoCulture For me it’s the shape. Specifically the height. They are lower and it just makes them look disproportionate, look at your 07 pair. Notice the grooves by the ankle are not cut off at all? But the 24 pair they are. There is like a quarter inch difference.
