indeed, it is... an ANDEAN family radiation... once I did a trip targeting as much tanagers we could in 1 week around Medellin so we did PIHA RESERVE area N of Medellin, then MOntezuma in the W Andes and Manizales area in the Central... we ended up getting 60 species of tanagers!!
