MISTA FLIPPY IV Tbh I wanted England to win (it was my bet). It just bothers me a lot the lack of consistency on his speech. Coming from Lineker it's less of a deal (he did the same) , it's his country, he's gonna be biased and forget he was tweeting like a teenager against diving when it was about Neymar and pretend Henderson didn't fake he was severely injured just as well. Schmeichel though... And, to say Belgium after that lame game against Japan is ahead of Brazil on this wc? They can indeed win tomorrow, but it's not even a matter of opinion, Brazil is much more balanced overall. Maybe he's just against Brazil. Whatever though, he's just annoyingly impartial.

Mexico had no composure in the final third. Always took one touch too many, made the wrong choice, fucked everything up. Hopelessly overrated in this tournament. Going on fast breaks means nothing if there's no end product.

Southgate has not yet been able to apply the plan he prepared with the English team before arriving in Russia ,as he relied in the friendly matches and matches qualifying for the World Cup defensive style and then the counter attack. The question is why ? because all the teams that played against them play strong defensive methods and therefore did not enable him to play the plan already drawn. Now I'm not able to know the thought and style of Southgate on the pitch and that may extend to the time of his match with Sweden, which plays a fast and balanced ball between defense and attack . Example When The English team scored the first goal i expected from Southgate to drag the Colombian team to his plan and to impose himself but he didn't what we saw from Southgate , he killed the game in the middle of the pitch and this caused the Colombian team to have the ball and build an attack until the equalizer scored. The trick is to involve( Jamie Vardy), who doesn't suit the attacking system for England So far.

It was a horrible game to watch as a neutral. For some reason Columbia decided to disrupt the flow of the game and hoped to nick a goal which they did. Too bad they didn't go for it. Could have been more open and entertaining.

Expecting to hear more garbage thrown at Colombia, but overall a honest and professional analysis. It was luck (and the ref) who allowed England to go to the final 8. And England is not the best team. Were able to make it to the semifinal cause really Sweden lacks creative players, and Croatia were able to show England they are not worthy to make it to the finals.

First the England player was all on top of the Colombian now the Colombian player is not allowed to move his head up? Second, Henry gets a free penalty when he didn’t even have the ball, How? One of the Colombian players got a yellow card for retaliating to Henry aggression and gets a free penalty. Third, The English team gets two throw in opportunities; once because there was already a ball on the field and second time the English player takes out the ball and is encountered by a Colombian player who then passes it to Bacca scores a goal and it the referee disqualifies it and calls for a third throw in. Why? Because the referee was prejudice, a races who had preference over the English team, maybe because he was an American man with English ancestors. Why they didn’t show the replays to the VAR? So they could determine the plays. They didn’t because the is corrupted and actually wanted England to win. That game was a joke, unbelievable.
