I can understand her wanting to leave if she feels in danger.. Only listening to many videos it is said it is not that dangerous if you use your head and don't go to areas that are sketchy..But I feel that if you run into women who want to go to the US it is better not to bring them.. We know they will get immersed in the culture and become just like the women we are running from..We want traditional women so is best to stay in COLOMBIA..

@@donnydice2460 I married my Colombian wife in 2010 in the US after bringing her to NC on a K1 Fiance visa. FORTUNATELY, most of her friends are older Latina women, who are also traditional, so she has not gotten "corrupted" by angry, bitter divorced American women. However, I do know several Korean and Latin men, who moved to the US with their wives who became "americanized" and whose releationships fell apart after a few years in the US. So, although I am extremely lucky that my wife has not changed, I do think it is a risk for Western men to bring their foreign "traditional" wives to their countries.

Interesting... I have kinda sensed this for a while in my efforts to get to learn more about life in Colombia. And I appreciate her honesty and frankness. Seems like too many people have gone out of their way to try to "normalize" the crime problems throughout Colombia. It AIN'T NORMAL to have to worry about walking down the street with your phone out! It AIN'T NORMAL to have to worry about riding down the street in a car that doesn't have tinted windows "with your phone out"! THAT SH*T AIN'T NORMAL! That's a problem. For all of the F'ed Up Crap that's going on here in the U.S., and there is A LOT of it, by and large getting assaulted because you have your phone out, while on the street, or getting assaulted because you are wearing a gold chain is not an issue. Getting drugged on a date...SH*T AIN'T NORMAL!!! I so wish that expats would stop dealing with the crime issues in Colombia with "kit gloves". Believe it or not, I'm actually a fan of your work. I love your content. I love what you do. Please don't stop. But in this interview, i was beginning to feel like you were an attorney trying to "lead the witness", in order to validate your personal agenda. I don't think you'll ever need to do that. There are enough positive things about Colombia to stand on, and the audience that this content is meant for, I believe, is intelligent enough to "get it". Just my thoughts.

The Colombian women have no problem sharing their expectations but what do they bring? She said the around 3 million Colombian pesos that is $784 per month is enough to live comfortably. I don’t know where you can live making that money , is it in El Centro Medllin? An apartment in L Poblado Medellin is around $2000 so I don’t see how she’s coming up with that number

Ignoras dos puntos claves: 1) Cali es una ciudad más barata que Medellin. Cali es un valle donde la oferta inmobiliria a es abundante y no hay tantos extranjeros adinerados encareciendo la oferta de servicios. Medellin es una ciudad rodeada de montañas donde la oferta inmobiliaria es reducida y con muchos estranjeros demandando servicios. 2) El Poblado, Medellin es estrato 6, donde vive la gente con mayor poder adquisitivo de Medellin+Estranjero gringos. Para tener una vida cómoda facilmente se puede tener en un barrio de estrato 4 o 5 donde los arriendos, servicios de energia y gas son más baratos. Estos son lugares de gente con ingresos medios en el estandar de Colombia. 2 , 3 y 4 millones de pesos.

PLS allow my comment. Saiyan, I've noticed a great quality in your latest interviews p.e. aloth of testimonies are coming forward in stating they'd rather leave which in my own research I've seen. Now those that have had exposure from abroad unless above 5 mil. they wouldn't stay. On the whole being truthful the country is heading for bad times. This young-lady gives a bit of conflicting info.

Try Latin American Cupid. There are lots of women looking for a relationship. I know several guys who met their wives that way. I would expect more gold diggers in Bogota and Cartagena. Cali and Medellin are probably better, but most women will not speak English.

You can be 10,12,15, 20 years older but if you take care of yourself and affairs you’ll beat out the locals and most foreigners. The friends way is the best or out and about, stay off the apps.
