(it's close to 99% in 2021) On top of that, free health, free education upto university. Plus population is only 21 million and it stopped growing. Any idiot knows a smaller population is easier to manage. Sri lanka is the most developed South asian country, and statistics show more as a developed country. Educate your self first. lol.. India is nowhere near Sri lanka in human development. But India is miles miles, miles ahead on milatery. Average sri lankan is more well off than average indian. Lol.

Visited Sri Lanka many times. Many a thing to learn from Sri Lanka. First of all there is no caste system .... so you can step out and paint your house, wash your car yourself... no problems. Law enforcement is free of caste and such other bias. Women, when riding on a motorbike, for safety reasons, not only for themselves, but for other road users too, have to sit with legs on either side of the motorbike. It is impossible to think we can implement this in India? In India its not uncommon to see three people on a motorcycle. The rider, a man sitting on the fuel tank and two aunties sitting sideways !
