If I lived there, I'd be going to Captain George's Seafood Buffet at least once a week! We go there once or twice yearly from MD.

This was very educational & very spokey 👻 looking however I just love Colonial Style Homes 🏡 ""I love ❤️ when the center front door is painted 🎨 red 👌 (or some bold color you can see as you are approaching the resident 😁) with 2 to 3 windows on each side ( Looking like miniature White Houses 🏘) 👍🏿

Ooh, I have a fun graveyard secret from Williamsburg: somewhere in the graveyard of Bruton Parish Church lies the body of one of the earliest people of Asian origin we know to have lived in Virginia. We don't know this person's name or where exactly their grave was located, unfortunately, but the Bruton Parish Church burial records from August of 1738 include the burial of, quote, "a East Indian belonging to Honble William Gooch, Esq." "East Indian" was the term commonly used for people of South and Southeast Asian origin in colonial-era records, as opposed to Native Americans, who were just called "Indians."

Great video. I didn't know that Martha Washington was married before George and children! Who knew? Thank you so much

Actually several million Virginians, for decades after WW2 at least till the 90s, students were required to take three years of Virginia History, and Martha was covered in deep detail....then it got WOKE. . .

@@ablewindsor1459that has nothing to do with being woke lol. Her previous marriage is not important whatsoever in learning history, just a fun fact. They still teach Va history 😉

@@teal_panda_8434I stand "UN" Corrected...if you compare today's texts to those of the Sixties...they are Extremely WOKE.. Period.

Odd that Custos would be buried in Burton Church because he was a warden at St Peters in New Kent Co, VA. That's the same church that Martha married George Washington
